I think probably larger monkey or gibbon. Has anyone ever heard bigfoot going into trees before. While young primates may go into trees even if adults don't they usually aren't making jumps like the one in the video.

Ummm....I don't think this is a Sasquatch. Some monkey-type form fills three frames of film in a home movie, and it's automatically a Bigfoot?????
Based on the footage available, I can't make out any details whatsoever. Just a monkeyish shape dangling between some limbs.
Could be Maurice the Wonder Monkey from 'Friends'.

It's just a black silluette, it could be anything.
How many reports are there of bigfoot swinging from a tree?
It's more likely a monkey escaped or something.

I reserve my judgement with anything coming from the BFRO. It is probably an escaped pet and because of the legal issues with pet monkeys nobody wants to confess to owning it.

Thanks for the images. When it comes to BigFoot related stories BFRO is undoubtedly the best website out there. The amount of info and Bigfoot sightings are incredible, yet we have not been able to catch the elusive beast in the woods. Because of the number of reported Bigfoot sightings, I did a little research to find out what states or regions of the country where these occurances are most frequented. Not to my surprise, my state (Washington) is # 2 on the depth chart.
There have been more than 2,550 reported Bigfoot sightings in North America in the past century. British Columbia had the most with 362. The states with the most reported sightings include:
California - 343
Washington - 286
Oregon - 176
Florida (?) - 104
Ohio - 95
Montana - 74
Texas - 63
Colorado - 60
Pennsylvania - 58
New York - 53

Now that I think about it, I highly doubt Bigfoot would be climbing trees. For what?

real investigators assume NOTHING. while this image is suspect as to the subject we have to never assume something is or rule it out because of perceptions. there are a few reports of young creatures in trees. not many but a few. there are many reports of creatures on all fours. this said the creature in general has been reported to engage in more classicle ape/monkey behaviors.while logic may rule out 700 lbs of bigfoot swinging thru newyork like tarzan logic wouls also say this could be a way to protect young. or it could be the bear escaped from bj mckay.[if you didnt get that then your too young]. my main point is dont ever allow yourself to assume anything till the work is done.

It probably is not an infant bigfoot. However, everyone is basing their assumption that it is not because of the fact that the creature is swinging from a tree. Bigfoot sightings that we are accustomed to recount details of a very large, adult creature. No swinging from the trees.
BUT wouldn't it be logical that a young bigfoot might play and swing through trees? Kittens and puppies are very playful when young, for instance. Monkeys (which is probably what the video depicts) play as well.

Too small to be bigfoot. Looks like a small monkey and nothing more. Terrible and pitiful footage.

Too small to be bigfoot.
that is why they say it could be a juvenile bigfoot not an adult.

To me it looks like something stuck in the tree with a string attached (maybe a kite) It keeps swinging the same way everytime. I also think that if it was a young Bigfoot it proberly wouldnt be that comfortible swinging through the branches at that hieght. I believe, but this isnt the smoking gun were looking for.

Ahhh but, I can assure you that this is a baby Bigfoot. This particular evening one of the little tykes got away from Auntie Bigfoot
All joking aside, I vote that this is definitely a monkey. It wouldn't be too far-fetched to assume a monkey escaped from the zoo or from someone's home.
