This is some of my OLD stuff, left over from way back when I first started doing art professionally. I worked for a graphic design firm called Digital Color Lizards, and my job was to develop color studies by hand that a digital artist would later convert the working pallete into a viable animation pallete consisting of TV and web friendly colors. We did stuff for DC comics, Dark Horse, and Marvel. All of the drawings on this page are mine, but they are all of characters that I didn't create, some are in color, and some are in pencil (exercises in greyscale), and some are just heavy black ink. The color studies were done with Prismacolor Design Markers---my best friends. Oh, and advice for artist just getting into the business---never sign a contract with a company giving them rights to your work outside of the office. I signed one with them and couldn't keep my sketchbooks that I used for their art. Really sucky situation.

Thanks. That was a Joe Michael Linsner character named Dawn. We had to do the B&W greyscale tests for a series of commercials promoting his appearance at the Atlanta Dragoncon.
