Every year at this time (end of Nov. until the first of January) if you look outside up at the night sky in my backyard (which my backyard is really a 40 acre field-LoL), you would see a row of large blue lights across the sky that float and hover from about 9 PM-3 AM.

I wouldn't think it weird if it weren't for the fact that everytime I reach for a telescope-once I get in range, the blue "lights" streak across the sky so fast that I don't get to see them up close. It happens every time... every year.. and I have yet to figure out what it is.

What do you guys think? Could it be UFOs? I've been thinking that's what it is. And when I consulted my husband about it, he told me that he's been seeing those lights (and also didn't have any luck seeing them with a telescope) since he was 18 (and he's 29 now). It's strange.

Maybe...you never know... sometimes I see strange things in the sky to...very similar to that.

Buy a rocket launcher...now.

but, if the lights disappear as a result of her trying to see them more closely in one way or another, then wouldnt a video camera chase them off too?

Well,if its flying and you cant identify it, it is a UFO.

If you know when to expect it every year, I'd have the camera sitting out and ready every night. I was thinking that maybe it was a blimp of some kind, but I don't think they shoot off that quickly.

Where is this happening?
