Most don't beleave in vampires, but the odd thing is that there are old stories of them from all across the globe, begining mostly in places remotely visited at the time, meaning it was not a story someone just made up and told the village;spread by word of mouth....so where did theas stories come from,do you think, and what do they mean?

(If you can,you should read Katherine Ramsland's book The Science Of Vampires)

Personally I would say that vampires are not valid, I think people may have been tricked into things they may have seen, hallucinations of demonic manifestations, perhaps even the contact of demonic spirits acting as if they were blood sucking zombies that originated from bats. devil.gif rolleyes.gif

They may very well exist but I do not believe they have immortality as an attribute.
If anything they are a cult of people who believe to drink life is to prolong your own.

There were already several threads like this. But porphyria is thought to have inspired vampire legends (as well as people awaking from comas).

Well i heard theres a town in the Phillipines and all the houses in that particular town have garlic around them. I believe that there were vampires and probably still some around. I know that Vlad the Impaler had a lot of relevance to the Dracula books. He was King of what is now Turkey, I believe. And he would impale his victims (citizens, enemies) and eat near the dying bodies, collecting their blood and using it as dip for his bread. I don't think vampires exist, however there are many psychos out there with a real thirst for blood.

Lol. Well, no, personally I don't believe in vampires. Although I do have two pointy teeth that reminds most people of vampires, I do not feel the need for blood, nor have I died in this life yet. Or so I hope wink2.gif

I think there are some people who want to be different so bad that they start to drink blood, and after a while of doing so, it becomes something like an addiction, comparable to a drug addiction. A human being doesn't need drugs to survive, but when frequently used, the body gets used to it and will find a sudden stop strange, and will react to this. Same goes for blood addicts.

Plus, if you drink too much blood, you can die. And since people are led to believe that vampires need blood every 12 to 24 hours, it is impossible for a live human being to imitate this, for it'll become their deaths.

Personally I do not believe in them. There may have been a person who acted and believed that they were a Vampire and tricked many many people through the centuries.
