When i was on holiday in turkey unfortunately i dont remember wher but i know that i was in turkey any way i was at this beach party and i was kinda bored so i just sat at the water edge for a while when a turkish holloday rep came up to me and told me about a monster that dwelled within the water that was said to be dropped there by saiten himself millions of years ago.It had 3 eyes a long neck and the body that was kind of shaped like a long neck dinasours body well after she told me that i wasnt going anywher so i sat and watched about 20 minutes later i looked to the right of the water and ther was these 3 yellow eyes well at least what i think and there was its tail swinging down in front of the 3 eyes i wasnt sure what to think but i went to get a drink and when i came back the beast was gone. ooh wee ooh. sorry i just had to put that in anyway plz post on this and tell me what you think

Staring into the ocean can have an almost hypnotic effect. Since the guy told you the story, you had an expectation of what to see. I suspect your imagination filled in the blanks and caused you to see in your mind as something "out there"

I'm not saying you're crazy or hallucinating or anything like that at all. It's actually a very common phenominon.

Ok, I am curious about your reaction. so you saw the beast, then left to get a drink? I am not critisizing you, but why didnt you call for other people to come witness it too? Who knows, maybe someone had a camera or a camera phone....

If it is as old as you say it is, if you could remember the resorts name and the general area, you might be able to find something in Local Mythology.

This sounds like it could be yet another authentic "lake monster tradition". Some early legends from that region which refer to "dragons" and similar monsters that were the "sons" of Satan.

Or its just a hoax...If you saw a lake monster, you wouldn't just get up to go get a drink....you would shout and scream, or stand dumbfounded...

Referring to it as brought, or the son, of Satan strongly indicates an authentic, very early legend, for in ancient and medieval times Satan was universally regarded as a "real" dragon, that sired other dragons. Turkey in those days was thoroughly Greek and many of the early christians came from there. Another ancient belief was that these "land" dragons, once they grew to a very large size, became "sea monsters".

the reason i went to get a drink was also to see if my cousin would beleive me and mayby come and see if i was lying or not but after 10 minutes of trying to perswade him he wouldnt come so thats when i went back to find nothing there
