one of my co-workers before told me that aliens are probably copies that the AI . The aliens sends out a spaceship that is controlled by Artificial intellegence and with it the aliens DNA map to create copies of themselves or just make other aliens by configuring the DNA molecules. The AI is brilliant idea because they can survive the harshness of space and these spaceships could be millions of years old when they arrive here. The fuel that these spaceships probably use he says are anti-matter fuel , something about Einsteins emc equation. Our planet is a nice place for them because they have all the ingriedients they need to start life. They can probably create millions somewhere in incubations and start their invasion. we probaly have to go against beings who are more advanced than we and have mastered their own genome. Imagine us as the aztecs going up against the conquistadores but something far more.

But,
If you were sending an expedition light-years into space you would not be able to script AI to deal with all of the unknown variables. You'd have to build in a huge capacity for creative thought, which IMO is the last thing we'll figure out, if ever.
But, what do I know? I'm not a computer programmer of alien origin. Your coworker on the other hand... I'd keep an eye on him if i were you.

What a strange theory... It's almost impossible, since you can't create life using base materials(Creationists), or if you could, it would take millions uopn millions of years(evolutionists).

their probably more scared than we are...
That is one of the more creative theories I've heard.

Well there are a hundred different means of alien species to make an expedition to Earth, most of which can faintly even imagined or our pride in our own intellect blocks us away from truely grasping what superior inteligence truely is. The only problem I see in all of them is that why would they really want to contact such a viccious and destructive and almost completely inhospitable species.

No it wouldn't be like the Aztecs vs. Cortez, because I seriously doubt they would even bother coming here in the first place after seeing how inhospitable our species is.
