I have been hearing a lot about the Loch ness monster on the History channel and I really kinda hope that Nessie IS down there, but they DON'T find it. Because if they find ANYTHING it will end up being tested. After that there would be no more mystery of the Loch ness.

Like I have said already in two other topics about Nessie; they won't find Nessie down there anymore. She died around 2000-2004.

*checks watch* yep.... time to get persecuted for my beliefs....

I think that Nessie is a Tulpa. (Just in case someone doesn't know... A Tulpa, in this sense, is a creature that either didn't or probably did exist that has perished or disappeared and is actually kept alive by the belief attatched to it. People have been known to create their own Tulpas and bring them into creation just by themselves, so imagine what the beliefs of all the people who believe in Nessie can do.)

Nobody would like to see Nessie caught and disected, (unless they're the scapel carrying scientists who hate anything yet to be seen under their narrow visioned microscopes....) But I digress. I believe that we believe she exists, and therefor she exists. What more do we need than that?

Even though the concept of scientists getting eaten by a giant underwater dinosaur sounds very encouraging to me.

Whether Nessie died or not, I believe would have to do with the amount of belief given to her. Besides, if a creature that big bit the dust, we would have seen something floating in the water. (Unless the body that she inhabited were only confined by the semi-real laws of imagined physics rather than the more boring ones that we have to answer to.)

*sigh* needing proof sucks, i'd rather just believe.... ^ ^

I agree. But lets say Nessie did die, there might be another lake monster out there.

Thanks, I also heard that in the time that "Nessie died" a man found a giant snake, (I can't remember the name) and he killed it, and kept it in a strange box of some kind. That could have been our Nessie.
