Raid of the River

http://www.nintendorevolution.ca/12042005/...on_screen_shots

It's not running on the Revolution, but it's a Revolution game none the less.

Very neat! I love those type of shooters. It looks pretty cool.

Well, technically the Metroid Prime 3 video at E3 had the first screens of a Revolution game.
However, in both instances the games weren't running on Revolution hardawre. Also if you read the link, this company doesn't have a dev kit or a publisher yet.
It would work really well with the controller, though.
BurnSide
Yeah, i can definately see how that kind of game would really show what the controller is about. It doesn't look like much, but it's pretty exciting nonetheless.
ChrisC098
It kind of looks like a suped up version of the Atari game River Raid.

It's time for more (very possibly real) screens.
Metroid Prime 3

Second Screenshot
The first looks about 90% real to me. The second looks more like a render than a screen shot, but it could be because the second is from a more advanced development kit than the first.

I agree about the screens. First looks more real, second looks pre-rendered. Either way, those are very very awesome. Good find.

Bah just another tiny tip-bit from Nintendo to tide us over until they decide to release more information on their bloody secretive next-generation console.Although I am very excited over this console I`m getting sick of only having tiny bits of information on this console and its games.

I'm almost positive that the first one is real, but the second.............
Retro Studios doesn't use pre-rendered sequences in the Metriod Prime games. This is mainly for continuity, so it doesn't take players out of the experience. So, that second could pic could be one of several things:

1. A fake based on the first picture.
2. A real one, but Retro is now using pre-rendered scenes.
3. A real one, but based on a more recent development kit.
4. A real one, but only a pre-rendered concept illustration.

I really would like to have a non-morphball one now. Please?

I understand, but it's how you generate hype. You have to feed little bits at a time to keep expectation high. If they gave it to us all at once, then the hype would die off by the time the console comes out.
More info will come out by late Jan./early Feb. to help tide people over until the total unveiling at E3.
I'm really interested in finding out what Kojima is up to and what Ubisoft's FPS will be like.

I agree totally with you there Byuu94 I just dont like it one bit. As its just about 06 I`m sure the amount of info on the Revolution will certainly increase very very soon.

I'd expect a Star Fox game eventually because all of the consoles have had one.
The controller would work really well for it, and there was a tech demo that used it for flying.

Armada was alright, but the next one needs to be much longer and limit the ground-based missions.
Tillghast
Exactly. I thought it was awesome though. Too play in an Arwing. I still rember the controls from the N64 version.
Byuu94
Have you ever played Star Fox 2? You can find a rom of it somewhere on the net.
Tillghast
You have played it? I haven't. Is it good?

1. Yes
2. It's .............different. Unlike the first, the second is free-ranging. Your ship can turn into a walker and run around inside bases. It's rather short and not very difficult. The game was finished, but it was never released. Instead, some of the elements from it were used in Star Fox 64 (Like Star Wolf, free-range flying, etc.)

Oh snap! Is Pigma in it?

I think the three are Wolf, Pigma, and Leon (chameleon).
You fight them in little random battles.

Okay, back on topic.
