I think he could really see stuff in the future, not all though, just most of it.Some are just probably exaggerated by the modern people.

He was an interesting one. I personally don't really kno hat he was all about. It's easy to shout "fake" at what he did, but we can't really know for sure IMHO. It does seem that as time goes on that he's being proven wrong, with all the 1999 king of terror and apocalypse stuff blatently not coming true. Hoever, I once read a theory that said someone from the 16th [?] cetury observing events of the 20th could easily have mistaken it for one giant war.
I'll try and get a bit more firmly to the middle of the fence...

I honestly believe that anyone can make a number of predictions and they are bound to have some of them come true. Develop them into an ambiguous format and let others interpret them and you can come up with many possible "close" predictions.
Sorry but I have only seen one set of prophecies come true 100% of the time. I think I will put my money there.

Having read a book of translations on his quatrains, I think that he was just very good at keeping things generic enough to apply sooner or later.
Making extremely generic guesses about the future doesn't make him special in my book.

I think he could see into the future to a certain extent. Some of his predictions were vague but after the incidents, when you study the predictions it becomes more apparent,9/11 was one of his predictions wasnt it?and that happened.I think people should pay more attention to predictions in the future instead of being quick to dismiss it,it could save orhelp a lot.

*PUTS HANDS ON TEMPLES*
Moe predicts that there will be a war started by the king of a country with red somewhere in his flag. A big building will fall down. Many shall bleed.

my money goes with you!
the only predictions i've seen that people say came true, are always from 10 differnet predictions put together with words and meanings twisted to fit the fact...

Fluffybunny is right.
Im not sure what i believe concerning his prohecies. I think a lot of his prophecies are written in such a way that people find it easy to "twist" and make applicable to present events. Like when he talks about a great evil from the sky, i mean that could mean anything couldn't it?
Though his prophecies relating to world war 2 and the rise of the third reich are spooky to say the least.
Basically im on the fence too.
oh and I actually really hope he isnt a prophet or we are all about to be in a bit of a pickle .

Scholars have debated for years about his predications and they still can't come to a reasonable conclusion; his predictions are too libel by fact to jump to the gun. Once an event takes place, you can insert a prophecy that suits you best for that situation and say, "Hey! That was predicted."
I'm undecided.

I belive that some people do know what is going to happen in the future. Watched a program a few weeks back about a man who has dreams of the future, when he woke up he painted a picture of what he saw, took it to his local bank barclays, stood underneeth the date with his painting and got one of the women who worked there to take photos of him, one of his paintings was of two towers coming down with flames coming from them, another of a volcano.
No one knows how to explain how he knows things like this, he doesnt know his self. All people have different views on things like this, if this program comes on again i will let you know, and then i will be able to tell his name, soz i cant remember it.

Unexplaied is the operative word; they are unexplained. But these gifts of foresight are given to these people for a reason, I believe. They might not understand why but I believe there's a reason for everything.

I heard somewhere on the history channel he sometimes messed up his predictions cuss' he gets his predictions from watching the stars and stuff... so I don't really blame him... and he also predicted correctly when his tomb( or...somthing) will be opened

hmmm i remain divided on this one.... alot of his ramblings have not come to fruition... alot where deciphered in the way you read them (like between the lines waaaaay between) i think he was hyped up opn some really really good jungle juice, was writing poetry, and bam... ppl read into what they wanted too
i'm still a tad skeptical on this one.... how many times has the world supposed to have ceased of all existance now?

well I would say rip off, (because there's no "well he was so vague he could of predicted my birth" vote). That's what i think, he has allot of diverging predition so vague it can only pe interpreted in after events has happend.

Much like modern astrology, it vague but if you believe in it it will work out.

You know I accidentally clicked that he was real but I meant to click that he was fake....subtract one from that and add one to fake

It's like if I said...."You will encounter great misfortune tomorrow" and your car blows a tire, or if your computer crashes, or WHATEVER, when you generalize life enough, ANYTHING can fit into a prediction...what I want is EXACT dates and EXACT circumstances, and EXACT locations and EXACT people, etc, then I'll believe it.
