Did u guys ever hear of this, a water poltergiest is like a poltergiest but just associated with water for example if you had a Water Poltergiest in your house the walls would be filled with water and water would drip down from the ceiling also it haunts rivers, lakes, swamps etc..... and drowns anyone who swims.

Ive never heard of that. I think the drowning part would be a myth if at least one person drowned someone would probably try to make it seem haunted by spreading rumors.

wow, new one on me.... let me ask this, if it causes water in the walls of homes, how come the homes would not be full of water damage? Or will it leave no trace?

I have some older books about ghosts in my attic with this phenomenon in it. Water is apparently a conductor for certain spiritual events. This actually belongs in the 'Ghosts' section.

Isn't there some kind of legend that ghosts can't cross water or bridges? Something like that?

Eastern European and African legends (maybe others too) both state that ghosts and vampires cannot cross moving water.

If they're afraid of water then can you be safe if you like...run the water in a sink or something? Then they can't get you because it's running water?

Water balloons would technically be flying water not running water but it still might work.
