Today, along with Dimebag Darrell, is the 25th anniversary of John Lennon's death.

Rest in peace John, and thanks for the tunes.

Just about to make a post about this grin2.gif

Ya, he was a great muscian. I'm kinda interested in the whole scene of him dying.

Mark Chapman, the guy who killed him, is described as a 'deranged fan'. He said 'Mr. Lennon', John turned around, and *boom*, he shot him. John died before the ambulance got there sad.gif

But, the thing that gets me, is that when Mark was waiting for the police to come, he got out a chair and started reading 'The Catcher In The Rye'. It's been said that if you read/eat/sing/listen to (you get the point) that has something to do with 'Rye'/'Rhye', you 'feel the need to kill someone afterward'. Even eating rye bread (or listenin' to Seven Seas of Rhye, by Queen (the best band ever, just sayin')). I don't believe that, but ya never know.
