Not nearly enough time to develop my full consciousness or "re development" of my dormant 10 strand's of DNA. I think his point is, nobody will ever believe you unless they experience it themselves. And nobody will believe that person, because they would then be labelled crazy...It is damn-near impossible to be able to tell the truth in the media, from the fiction in the media. No matter what kind of evidence is presented, we will always question the aunthenticity, and credibility of those making such claims. We always ask for evidence, but when presented, we ask for proof, if presented, we still aren't satisfied, because we want a first hand experience. This is why we are skeptical (IMO) because we need to experience it for ourselves to fully believe in it. Or at least, that's my view on it... It is a lost cause until someone with some actual credibility comes forward and explains everything, or if every single one of us experiences it for ourselves...

Now I didn't read this entire topic but I'd like to point out something. In the article linked in the original post it mentions precise names, project code names, dates, and statistics. If this, as well as any of the other "factual information" provided on abovetopsecret.com was in fact REAL top secret information, don't you think the government would've taken measures to shut down the website as well? If normal civilians have access to this "information" then I'm sure any government figure could find it just as easily and supress it.

Maybe...But it is my belief that they use the public to decieve and confuse itself. That way, if anything does get leeked, they don't have too much to worry about, because we are so used to getting nothing but hoaxes, that it is now in our nature to not believe anything we hear. It depends on what you call evidence, if you need a hand shake from a Vulcan to prove it to yourself you will never see the bigger picture. There is evidence, we as the general public do not have access to it. By stating there is evidence you have to look at who is willing to come forward. In any trial a persons testimony is heard, even if it's from a crackhead who witnessed a robbery. It may be sercomstantial evidence but still evidence.

We cannot dismiss the MANY testimonials of some very high ranking officials including Reagan,Carter,Truman ect, and millions more less in the loop. There is really more evidence to say some of this is definitely real (E.T.). activity then not.

Well, Reagan liked to use an analogy about the Earth uniting if we were threatened by an alien power, but that's about all I remember Reagan saying on the subject. Carter was quite public that he had seen a UFO, but I don't think he ever came to any conclusion regarding this UFO. To my knowledge he said it was an unknown. As far as Truman, sure there are lots of stories about Truman being involved in covering up Roswell and such, but publically he did purport any belief in the alien origin of UFOs.

The evidence is really quite conflicting and anecdotal. It's very difficult to corroborate the stories that say UFOs are aliens who have cut a deal with the U.S. government. The conspiracy angle is frequently cited as being the *reason* that such evidence can't be brought forth. Frankly, I find it highly unlikely that such a conspiracy could survive for 60+ years without some very definitive evidence having surfaced by now.

Now, I don't need to shake hands with a Vulcan, but I'm going to need more than stories, questionable video/photos, and documents of unkown origin/veracity to make me say that we're being visited by ET. This scenario isn't flat out impossible, I guess, but it's also just not very well supported. If one wonders why most scientists don't take the subject of UFOs very seriously, it's the lack of evidence that can be verified/corroborated that is most damaging...followed by the credulous stories and fantasy espoused by many ET/UFO believers.

Many UFOs do remain unexplained, enigmatic mysteries (good example, the Cash/Landrum sighting) but there does not exist (at least to my knowledge) the 'smoking gun' type of evidence linking these unexplained events to ET. I'd love to see a compelling 'exhibit A' , there are some very tantalizing cases (my own sighting included) but nothing that can serve to answer the question of exactly *what* some of these UFOs really *are*. I'm not saying that UFOs can't be ET related, just that the evidence for this explanation is very far from definitive.
