hi people just wondering what everyone thinks chupacabra is
w00t.gif
GavinStrife
I think he/she/it is an alien that was accidently left behind, or crash landed somewhere and couldn't get home
BigDaddy_GFS
It's either a cryptid, or some genetically-engineered abomination created by man.

In Mexico it is generally believed that the chupacabra was an invention of the Salinas administration to draw attention away from the extensive corruption.

theres an easier way to draw attenion away than to genitically engeener a creature...lol

I doubt the belief of the Chupacabra for these reasons:

1. If it was an alien and it was left behind from an expedition, why would it spend it's time wandering around and eating goats? Possible starvation? Seems plausible to a point...but I still have doubt...

2. It seems like another scam just to catch attention. There's been so many; more than we like to think.

3. There's a wide chance it was some predatory animal. I'm not familiar with the exact species that would be a possible suspect, but who knows? They're out there.

Well now that i look back i change my mind, i doughbt it exisits at all in fact, for one thing unlike almost every other crypto there isnt a general idea of what the chuppie actually LOOKS like, and it seems that all the proof there is is some goats that have been drained of blood, and the sightings are made by poor rural farmers who are heavely involved with superstitions hmm.gif and the sightings are very vaugue and do not give the same description, and i belive that the chuppie is merely a superstitous way of explaining why some livestock were killed that was made by farmers, and eventually grew into the media wink2.gif and The Third Angel had some very good points which i think are corrrect, and it seems like the poll options you gave are only explanations of the goaties being sucked, and a large group of mosquitos rolleyes.gif

I think the chupa is either a alien or a goverment biological weapon. I can see it now "Stupid Porto-Ricans! lets test our wepons on them!!!" laugh.gif

It's gonna EAT YOU!!! w00t.gif

Seriously though, probably an alien, government strategy, one of the many marketing scams out there, or Mad Manfred again...
MadEyePixie
I personally dont believe in the thing. To me chupacabra has become sort of a generic name for anything someone has seen and cant explain. Like, "I saw something lurking in my backyard and I dunno what it was, maybe it was a chupa!" Or another example would be any dog with mange that happens to wind up dead is automatically labled a chupa. Its probably just a case of mistaken identity like that or perhaps an actual undiscovered creature. There are too many different discriptions of this thing too that make me not think its out there.
DaKong
Definitely marketing.

There are 4 possiblities in my opinion:

1.Doesn't Exist

2.A cheap sovinear selling gimick

3.A figment of the imagination

4.^All of the above
Aquietas
Well, either that or a bunch of immature kids looking to scare the living crud out of farmers.
Never forget to account the stupidity of immature children to hoaxes. Usually the least expected but true solution.... cool.gif
