Please follow that link. The 1909 date is specifically mentioned which is the first date mentioned in the first clue of the "what is the secret" website. Also there is a picture of Mr. Haanel which looks suspiciously like the blurred and semi out of focus picture of "this man uncovered the truth" in clue 1.

did a whois and track it back to one of the two guys who are actually invovled in it, they base it around a system of pelmanism and the self help courses, they sell them at a price of course, the series of books. But you can track them down and order them basicaly for the same price at which their being sold through this "secret", very rare books, but i ordered from a book collectors the other day to see what their about out of curisoity. I really don't care what the secret is, but I'm getting tired of hearing about it already... usually I can cope with popular fads but this viral marketing after having been exposed to it a few times is beyond irritating.

The Secret will be nothing of importance. I know they say it is important in the promos, but have you ever heard a TV ad say 'This show is mediocre at best! You will probably be wasting your time watching it!'. No. Marketing executives can make the next episode of Survivor seem like the culmination of all civilization. It's their job.

I sort of agree, the establishment would bulk at the "real" secrets as would the worlds religions and governments. But if the distribution was over the Internet and not Establishment TV they have no control or influence, it would be truth unleashed.

This post (I will put below) on their forum I read seemed to get them a bit upset although I do think they have good intentions, they are not serious about distibuting intelligence and insight with impact. Little do they realize they are opening a can of worms they don't realize.

I think I understand what the effect of the secret will be.

Free energy, the end of disease, the end of war and that is just starters.

I don't think anyone thought through the releasing of this secret because it could have a devastating effect on the world economy.

If we eliminate disease all the industries that depend on it will collapse. Most doctors and nurses would not have any employment. The companies that supply the hospitals would go out of business.

The pharmacuetical companies would collpase.

All the banks that made loans to the doctors and hosptials would have the loans defaulted on.

There would be no need for health insurance, so the health industry would all but dissolve.

The media would lose 75% of it's revenue from the drug advertising and would falter and collapse.

IT WILL WRECK SOCIAL SECURITY, people need to die on schedule as planned after their savings have been depleted by the med indsutry.

Then there is the oil industry and all those that support it, suddenly millions would be out of jobs, thousands of loans would be defaulted, thousands of companies would cease to have a source of revenue.

You see this why the secret was banned, people would almost not need to work anymore. We would all be working just 4 hours a week or something.

The end of war would destroy the defense industry and the military industrial complex and all those

What if it eliminated criminals? Then the whole criminal justice system and those that depend on it for jobs would collapse.

What major broadcasting company is goign to air the series or show? Is it ABC or NBC? Or could it be on Discovery, History or Science Channel? I got Digital Cable so I dont got to wry about missing this. Don't need Tivo or Direct TV either. Cable owns Do u think maybe this is a pay per view event? I want to know for crying out loud.
