Has anyone else seen this yet? It looks like it could be an awesome game yes.gif

Downloadable video thingy promoting the game

Not a downloadable video thingy, but tells you about the game, with some cool screenshot thingies instead tongue.gif

Let us know what y'all think.

Yea ive watched the first trailer awhile back, it's gonna be a great game. Graphics look awesome, and I love that type of gameplay.

The graphics aren't as good as I expected, they kinda resemble the 'SW:Battlefron 2' look, and I didn't like those graphics. I love the idea that they're finally making a Strategy game for Star Wars, but I was also expecting the Clone Wars to take part in it also.

I think the Screenshots were more appealing than the video, to me. hmm.gif

you have to remeber its not a FPS, its a strategy game, have you ever played star wars battleground?

Yeah, the video was a little overdone - I didn't pay attention to that annoying overdubbed voice that made it sound totally B-Grade and just watched the AT-AT's stomp their way to victory.

I haven't, but by all accounts it was a bit of a flop. Is this right? I'm hoping the same thing doesn't happen with this one.

Yeah, I have, and its a very good game. Its just that the graphics really disapoint me. I stopped playing it and uninstalled it because my computer just couldn't handle it, kinda too strong...so I decided to stick with Console games.

The AT-AT's were probably my favorite part of the trailer laugh.gif . Though, I wish they could have used Darth Vader's real voice in there. Good voice, but its not him. I think the graphics in the Strategy sections were really good, but when It got so space, I was a little disapointed.

MY brother said the space scenes looked a little like Homeworld graphics. I never played Homeworld so I don't really know

Homeworld Graphics:

Not bad, but also not that good.

Repeat after me: graphics do not a game maketh!

I have been following EaW for a long while now and I have to say it looks absolutely fricken amazing... it's being made by the same tam who made the Command & Conquer games no less... ex westwood guys, so it is guaranteed to be hot on the gameplay side.

The space battles look awesome... homeworld style gameplay and strategy is exactly what it needs to pull it off. The thought of directing squadrons of starfighters against a capital ship quite frankly makes mew moist as a Star Wars fan... lol.

Star Wars Battleground was ok... it was basicalle Empire of Ages in a Star Wars costumem so gameplay was dated but good.

This is going to be 100x better... i'd put big money on it. wink2.gif

^^Bad your syntax is, yes tongue.gif But I agree. Haven't played Batlleground, but EaW looks cool thumbsup.gif
