The crown chakra is also responsible for seeing the deceased, so it is claimed. It is also the higher part of the udana.

I thought there were more than that, such as chakras for the hands. I could be wrong though...
Riot
Yes, but these are more minor. Though they all have their place.

Did ya know animals have chakras too? I felt for them on all 4 of our cats. I think it's cool.

Sahasrara is the crown chakra located on the top of ur head. chakra means "spinning disk" in sandskrit. Sahasrara is normally thought of as being deep violet or purple. to "activate" you might want to imagine a divine light pouring down from the sky into this chackra on top of ur head and imagine it spinning...the faster it spins the better. It does help w/ communicating w the dead but not really. normally ajna helps u to see spirits and to hear them. Sahasrara helps w/ intuition more than anyother psychic ability. you might also picture it as a lotus or some kind of flower but always make sure u make it spin (it does that on its own but its always nice to help it along)

There are ways to activate your chakras, I teach a sort of a class at my church step by step how to do it safely, since it can be painful if you do not unblock them before you work with them.
E-mail me if you want the info. hp_wilson@yahoo.com

The sahasrara is the crown chakra. When it is spinning our aura is hielded by higher energy.
There is an exercise where you see a silver ball of light above it, souck it into a small dot an dthen let all the omentum of sucking it into a small spot release, so it can expand.
It producesa truly groovy feeling.

there are other random bits of interest at www.xtreme-mind.com
or is it www.xtrememind.com?

I haven't visited in a while.

The svahdistana is the womb/emotional chakra, and th muladhara is the root chakra ( related to survival).

There are small ones n hands and feet.

And they are all very integral to your life experience.
'Tis good to keep them healthy.
