i find it suspicious that this happened right after bush wanted the patriots act renewed
coninidence or plan sabotage disgust.gif
bboy
I would think if someone was trying to sabotage something, they would take down a larger airliner. This is just one of those unfortunate accidents that happen. No need to look any further.
MysteryLight
I don't see why they would want to destroy this small tourist plane going back to the Bahamas. I mean there are plenty of other planes going in and out of the country at the same time so I don't understand for any reason why the government would want such a small tourist plane that visits these neighboring islands to be destroyed. It just doesn't make sense hmm.gif

Unless, they were watching them or used this as a distraction for something else they're planning or doing mellow.gif
Lord Umbarger
It was probably just faulty maintenance. It does seem odd that the wing just caught fire and fell off like it did though. I think that I'm going to with hold judgement until the NTSB releases thier report.
Bigfoot_Is_Real
Bush whould want to destroy this so he can renew the patriot act and contiue spying on the american people ph34r.gif
BurnSide
If you've read the replies, you'll see why that is a silly assumption.

This is a tiny 20 people tourist plane. If terrorists were going to attack something, they'd attack a massive airliner, likewise if Bush wanted action done to push a bill.

So, no, it has nothing to do with terrorists or Bush. Believe it or not, accidents do happen.
Bigfoot_Is_Real
no i know terrorists would go for a lagrer plane but what if it was bush he wouldn't want to kill alot of people so he went for a small plane yes.gif
BurnSide
As i said, if Bush wanted a bill passed and wanted a reason to get it passed, destroying a tiny tourist passenger plane wont do jack all. That's what we're saying.
Bigfoot_Is_Real
but it could influence their choice if found to be a terroists attack ph34r.gif
Lord Umbarger
Maybe it was domestic terrorists. I guess that could happen. Maybe some goofball with a high powered rifle in a parked car.

it doesn't suprise me that most "americans" still support bush and his ilk. people are sheep by nature. why is gw so visible these days, trotting out the tired "war against terrorism" nonsense speeches? Dick Cheney (no relation to Lon) even made a public appearance the other day. what amazes me the most, is that most of the folks who post topics and replies on bush claim to be "paranormal investigators" and other seekers of the truth, yet they are very closed-minded when gw is criticised and will attack with venom. fire away, bushies!

Signman, what are you on about?

The question is whether the seaplane incident was intentional or not. What the heck do your personal feelings about Bush have to do with it?
Mr. 420
bush shot it down himself with his secret terrorist laser gun ray.
MrVelvet
...A wing falls off of a fifty-seven year old plane. Knowing it was 57 years old...would you have gotten on it?? I'll blame Bush for alot of sh** that happens in the world, but blaming this on some government conspiracy might be a stretch.. hmm.gif
Bigfoot_Is_Real
is it there was an expoltion u know ph34r.gif
MrVelvet
Whatever sleepy.gif I'm so tired of this paranoid conspiracy sh** ...blame everything on the motherfu$%^&!....Makes life easier doesn't it???
Lord Umbarger
The fuel tanks are in the wing as well as the engine housing. Airplane engines get very hot. A fuel leak from one of the tanks that let avgas get to the hot engine could have started a fire. The intence heat would then melt the sheet metal frame allowing the skin to give way and the flames would've burst out. The added oxygen now available to the fire would have made it look a lot like an explosion... or at least could've.

I'm stil betting on some nut with a high powered rifle though.
