now, i know i'm opening a can of worms here... but i'm guessing we could all go fishing.

okay I'll get this done. now, if the angels that were pushed out of heaven, and then branded devils later on, could create demons. does that mean all angels can create life, therefore making them as powerful as god himself?

by this i mean, if the devils had that power to make life, to form it. then they must of had that power when they were angels right? so in theory, angels are as powerful as god.

any thoughts or debunks for this, I'd like to hear your thoughts. happy.gif

Is this from Catholocism (just so I know what you're talking about)?

I think all aspects of the bible, from the OT to the NT.

EDIT

I was told via another thread (forgot which and by whom) that devils made the demons. because demons weren't around until the angels fell and became branded as devils. if that makes sense unsure.gif its like 00:10 here so my thinking caps fell off.

I've never really heard this. I thought the demons were simply fallen angels. Contrary to popular depiction, the demons are not big red evil creatures with pointy ears and tail. They probably are quite lovely to behold. I don't think they actually have the capacity to create. Though if I am wrong, please enlighten me. I haven't really studied this to tell you the truth, so if you have references, I'd like to see them.

Thanks thumbsup.gif

the red suit with the goats hooves and hairy legs are dressing satan up as Pan, the lord of the woods. pan worship lingered on for centuries after theodosius until the christians did this to poor satan.

Indeed, i'd figured as much. Thanks though thumbsup.gif

Well from my point of view, I dont believe the Demons were ever Angels to begin with. Angels, simply in the way they are, cannot disobey God, therefore cannot become 'fallen' Angels. Its in their nature to do absolutely everything God wants them to do.
Which is why I believe that Satan was never an Angel to begin with.
And, I think Demons and Angels are two seperate groups of beings, and do not mix.

Just my thoughts.
Kind regards,
FT.

What book of the Bible does it mention that demons are fallen angels?
