Everyone loves sequels. Don't lie. Home Alone 2 rocked!

Anyway, this isn't another of my tactless acts of attention seeking, I'm honestly curious as to your reasons why you're so happy in the religion you've chosen and why you can't find an equal amount of happiness without this religion.

Hmm, I think this has pretty much been covered in Sheri's thread. The title aside, both sides of the argument are being covered over there.

well, when it comes to those embracing religions of control the individual gets all the blame while the organization gets all the praise. the benefit to the individual is they can be a martyr.

I think most people, especially White Americans, are born into that religion at a young age and grow up without knowing other religions or opportunities. As far as being positive is one own's person belief and there really isn't a negative effect of being religious though. As long as you believe in something and are a good person, everything will be fine after life here. Just my opinion thumbsup.gif

Manfred, I don't blame you for not wanting to scroll through the original thread its very long.....

I don't think happinesss has anything to do with religion, but if I was to take a stab at this curiousity of yours i'd say because someone told them they would be happy if they follow religion, the passed down knowledge idea, someone told someone who told someone else, who told their sister, Namaste Sheri
