Until recently I didn't know to much about these secret societies. But over the last couple months I've been doing a lot of reading and have to admit I'm convinced these societies do exist. I think from history to current time including the future, secret societies control us. I don't believe our vote means squat or that our elected officials represent us. They represent these societies and are supported by these "secret societies".
I've read this information at a lot of different web sites but I found one I wanted to share with everyone. The guy who runs this site has no ads or popups. It's there just to spread this information. It has a lot of information about these "secret societies".

If it makes you feel any better I can assure you that no secret society had any power in the world history until the 19th century.
However in the last 2 centuries you should only take into atention one or two societies (that are not all that secret after all): the freemasons (that is quite real, it was responsible for all the liberal revolutions in both south and north america, and for the end of almost all monarchies in europe and those are historical facts that you can read in any history book), the iluminati, and a few more that are of no great relevance.
90% of those secret societies are just poker clubs for old women
oh and btw, dont waste your time reading stuff about the templars and their connections with egyptian cults or the masons, it's like comparing watermelons and bycicles

There are some interesting threads on this topic. And not just the Freemasons, other secret societies in America I've never heard of. But apparently they aren't as secret as they used to be, like the masons, for example. You can just google on their handshake info, etc.

True, but whether or not this information is simply there to confuse masses of people hasnt been cleared up. I think a lot of the information we have now simply skims the surface.

Gezzz-o-Pete, I haven't reached that far back in history yet. I'm only back about seventy or eighty years. I find this stuff real interesting, I appreciate everyones input.

Well Freemasonry is fairly old, they had oral traditions about the antediluvians. However, the earliest secret society was with the Sumerians.

May I introduce you to the Roman Catholic Church? They certainly were a VERY major player in the international politics arena, as well as a vested interest in keeping the masses uneducated and sheep-like. And their history goes WAAaaaayyyyy back before the 19th century.
Oh, and how the heck can you "assure" anyone that NO secret societies had any power back then? Were you part of them, or are you in possession of knowledge that the rest of us don't have?

And if this stuff is so secret, why do we all seem to know about them?
Just askin.

That's just it, there not secret anymore. The problem is getting someone to admit to it and to admit to what they've done. I think in a hundred years our relatives will be reading in their history books about these societies and how they changed the world.

Someone else was saying in another thread about these people "blabbing". I'd like more information on this. What I've found is pretty much spectulation and rumors. No one who has any real authority has spoken up. (From what I've found.)

Well, the "secrets" of Freemasonry are available to anyone that can Google... and consist of the word-for-word rituals used along with descriptions of the grips (hand-shakes) and passwords. Other than that - you are dealing with unverifiable loons with more paranoia than is healthy.

I think it's pretty obvious that
someone had to say something along the way.

I really like this site:
http://www.conspiracyarchive.com/It has a lot of good quotes and it's easy to navigate. Here's a recent article that made me think of this thread:

ANOTHER ARTICLE
QUOTE
Secret Societies, Satanic Sects, The Prieure du Sion, The Knights Templars, Freemasons? What's Their Purpose and Are They At Core of New World Order?
Secret societies like Prieure du Sion have tried to unravel Christianity, saying Jesus survived the Crucifixion and raised a family with Mary Magdalena. Are the documents proving this hypothesis real, as revealed in the 1982 book, Holy Blood, Holy Grail. Although many condemned the book, it spawned a whole new cult of readers still looking for answers and now tying these secret societies to the NWO. Also, why does the symbolism of skull and crossbones keep popping up throughout history?

Go ahead, Scooby, keep prompting people to read stuff based on Holy Blood-Holy Grail. The book has been admitted by THE AUTHORS that they made it up! The great list of the Grand High Poo-Bah of the Priory of Zion? They WROTE IT THEMSELVES, and have ADMITTED it.
So much for expose's, eh?
I really like the way HB-HG starts... "Imagine a meeting with one shadowy figure and another shadowy figure, somewhere undisclosed. Imagine an agreement betweeen them and plans beginning to take place. Now, based on these FACTS, we begin our look at a mystery organization..." HUH?!?! Imagine several things that can't be proven, and then call this a series of FACTS?
Sorry, Scoobysnack, while I REALLY enjoyed the book - the same way I enjoyed the latest Harry Potter book (as a FICTIONAL tale), it just isn't true. And what makes it really sad is that the authors themselves have admitted it. Meanwhile, people like you and Sunofone still accept it as Gospel. Please, look for other sources for your Dark Shadows and Conspiracies.

If humanity ever had a chance, their dark lords will slip up more and more and i wait for the Vatican to fall. But they are prepared for riots. They may even begin one. The signs I am waiting for are;
Industrial slowdown.
Port closures,
And lots of REVELATIONS in the news coming rapid.
In the end everyone will know.
It all depends on the ones who find out first.
What are you going to do about it ?
Warrior and survivalist ?
