This is just a little something to help those skeptical about the existance of reiki. I've been supposedly attuned to the master level of reiki. I admit I still am a bit skeptical but, my story is pretty freaky. I was attuning my friend to reiki lvl 1 (distantly) which requires the use of the Cho ku rei symbol along with others (unless your confident enough that you don't need symbols) well I had to imagine that my friend was there and I was drawing the symbol on their back and using my intent to channel the reiki energy. Since it was distant i was talking them through steps they needed to do via AIM. When I came back to give her instruction on her next step I asked if she felt anything and it was rather odd because she said that she "felt tingly on her back" and I told her nothing of what I had to do.

I think reiki is very real. In fact I met someone who studied reiki. After a single session I felt calm, centered, and energized. And this was after I was experiencing a lot of stress in my life, so it was good to have met someone that knew about the energies that permeate all around us.

I love reiki energy heh. I don't have much stress myself so I don't notice MAJOR differences but, giving reiki treatments to other people makes you have such a good feeling :-) and unlike psi you can't explain the feelings of reiki as blood flowing into your hands because your focusing on them because in reiki u set the initial intent and then try to ignore the fact that you are using reiki all together. I often turn on the tv.

That's pretty cool. I never considered how it would affect the person "performing" the reiki (reiki master?). Some people are really sensitive to the energy around them.

Reiki energy comes from sources outside the body some (like me) call it God, others call it buddah but, reiki is in no way a religeon but, some choose to incorperate it into their religeon but, because this energy comes from other sources both the practicioner sp* and the person getting the treatment can get the treatment. I don't only believe that it comes from other sources but, also from youself. Another way to recieve benifits from giving reiki is giving it to plants. They are living things and love reiki they tend to give it back when you give it to them :-) and the person "performing" the reiki doesn't have to be a master but, they must be attuned to at least level one, although if you expect to do reiki for a living (i do not) then you normally need to be a master to make any money.

O and if anyone would like under certain conditions I will give out an attunement for free. But, only if time permits and such. I can only attune 1 lvl at a time though sadly and cannot give out certificates because i'm not certifyed.
