Note: I seen another post called 'Call of Duty 2 Big Red One'. Big Red One and Call of Duty 2 are different things original.gif

I have Call of Duty 2 (NOT Big Red One) for PC. It's a very good game original.gif Beat the campaign, in easy easy easy mode though grin2.gif It was still pretty hard I thought. grin2.gif

But the multiplayer mode is the best original.gif Easy to connect to a game. The graphics are great, no lag or anything either.

StalingradK

kaveman713
I dont really know because i'm like the only person I know of with an xbox360 and I dont want to pay $50 for another controller.
Ciraxis
man, this game is awesome. the best one out so far for the 360 i think. they really need to get some new games out though, but it will be about another month before the games i want are out. march also looks to be a great month for game releases
Ciraxis
has anyone finished the game on veteran difficulty yet? i just finished hard.
Super Pancake
I still have not beaten veteran but the game is much better on veteran.

One time I threw two grenades at the enemy and they threw both back at me. The AI is ice cold on veteran.
Ciraxis
i'm looking forward to it. my favorite level has to be taking hill 400, its just so fricking cool, as well as d-day. I'd like the guys that made this game to try out campains that took place in the jungle.
wrighty
When you say not big red one, is it the collectors edition.
Ciraxis
i just finished the russian campain on veteran and started the british, god i love this game.
wrighty
Its ace isn't it, played it online yet.
Ciraxis
no i haven't, i don't have xbox live, I'm waiting until i get a few more games. i only have project gotham and call of duty 2. i heard its good though.
wrighty
Well I have it for PC, its fantastic.
Carla
I was thinking of getting this game it will probably be the next one I get.
tracy roberts
i have call of duty 2 for the pc and im always getting killed just as well you can respawn as many times as you like grin2.gif its very rare i get 5 kills on the thing wacko.gif its great to play people from all over though they are some that are fantastic,im just not quick enough blush.gif
Ciraxis
i'm just starting the american campain on veteran difficulty, has anyone else finished yet?
SecondHeartbeat
Anybody got x-box live?whats your record?(Call of duty 2 not big red one)

40 kills
12 times i got killed on team death match
Boff
I didnt really like the game. Looks nice, but I disliked the gameplay. Got reallllly tired of shooting a german (probably the hundreth one in 1 minute) with a rifle to see him stand back up again. Not to mention I just found it was simply shoot shoot shoot shoot shoot thats it. Nothing but rushing from point a to b killing hundreds of germans at the same time. No really getting to know the characters and stuff which personally i like.

I much prefur Red Orchrestra.
SecondHeartbeat
i still found it fun to kill germans, the best mission is the D-Day one,i like it much more though on x-box live

Ugh, I'm still waiting for that to update on Steam, I'm at 77% on dial up though.

--------------------

Best level of Call of Duty 2 had to be the Russian Level where you end it by storming then eventually blowing up a building the germans are occupying.

I blame this game for taking hours away from my life via my fiance's addiction. Ha ha. I swear he can play it for like 9 hours straight on the net. Ick.

You'd think it gets boring after a while.

That's nothing, my fiancee wants to take Halo 2 and smash it to pieces original.gif... when I first got that I would get up and play for like an hour or two before work...get to work and look up strategies for the games I played...then I'd get home and before taking my shoes off the game was on already for a few hours of the night....and this I did straight for months with the occasional night off...

I don't have COD 2 but I have played the demo which I found rather fun...a little easy, but fun.

ha ha. oh man. you boys and your toys.

he worked usually only nights like three days a week as a musician, and would spend up to 13 or 14 a hours on the thing when he could. luckily he has been getting a lot of video work so he has a different reason to stare at the computer. so it's gotten better but its still pretty bad.

the only game i've ever been addicted to is minesweeper.
if it were an online multiplayer i would own you all. ha ha.

I don't spend near that amount of time on games anymore....once I bought a house I had other responsibilities first. My fiancee strangely loves playing minesweeper too tongue.gif
