Hi everyone, I'm Ebony. I'm almost new, I've been reading for ages but never had time to post anything. Now it's holidays, so I thought I should make myself known.
Stuff about me:
I'm female, 20 and live in Sydney, Australia.
I'm a makeup artist.
My name is awful and is made up entirely of colours.
I love forums, hate spammers.
That's it.

Ebony Rose Ivory. That is NOT a nice name.
My parents somehow never saw what was wrong with that.
They also failed to forsee "Devil May Cry" and how much trouble it would cause.
Thanks for the welcome.

$20? Haven't you ever heard of extortion? You could be making a lot more lol. I suppose, that $20 could go towards replacing that $5 000 vase I broke just before Christmas...so I think I'll keep it if it's all the same.
That's my need for monetary security displaying itself.

Of course I am! And my sister is hot and all my friends are hot...and you're just gonna have to take my word for it 'coz my camera is at my mother's.
Mostly everything interests me. The paranormal of course, but I don't need this forum for that. It's the diversity here that draws you in. The love of odd things, art, games, what's going on in the world lately. It's like all my other forums squished into one.

Cool. I agree the diversity is awesome! It isn't what drew me here, but it is definately what kept me here.

She'll bring it up in two weeks. And even if we were all ugly, I'm a makeup artist so you'd think we were all hot anyway. Models don't always start out like that. Sometimes they're very ugly. I work my own brand of magic.

Ebony

Not sure. I'd ask, but he answers the door naked. The police were not impressed.
Mulder and Scully often drive a Taurus, so that's okay (X-Files fan here). I don't drive- there's no need.

No one on here drives a Mercedes* hon. Thats why we're all here, we're not rich.. Well I may be, but thats not the point

And girlfriend in the sense of a friend who is a girl or what, cause you're a female?

I don't care about ages, so I don't care if I don't know it. I'm 20, but that's very deceptive.
Pictures. Are. Coming. And the thread was an intro, so it's not that useless.
Naturally, I wear makeup. But I'm going to post the only one without me wearing any because then you can tell if I'm actually alright looking. Makes sense if you think about it. Anyway, I don't think I'm that great.
I actually am rich. Still don't drive a Mercedes. I take the train or I get someone to drive me. I'm here because I live in a superficial world and need an escape. Money means nothing to me anyway, I've been poor when I was a child and money doesn't make any difference. You just dress better.
Girlfriend as in friend that's a girl. Yeah, I'm a girl myself. Not that us both being girls means anything. I prefer boys though, if that's what you wanted to know.

Jan 6 2006, 06:28 AM
Golden Age of Grotesque was fairly good, but then Twiggy had a small hand in that before he left. There is no Manson left anyway, so it doesn't matter anymore. Did Twiggy end up in NIN? Nice...I knew he went to A Perfect Circle after he left MM, but I don't really keep up with these things. The music's more important than who's in the band.
I never take offence. It's the least insulting thing anyone has ever said about my name anyway. Plain Ebony will be fine.

What the hell are you going on about? He's making a new CD it's coming out *this* year. He worked on it all last year and I heard some of the tracks.
QUOTE

Yep he was in one of the recent videos. He used to play in A Perfect Circle. The bass in "Only" is nice to hear, because well, that's Twiggy.

I didn't mean they're gone altogether, just that it feels like the members are changing so often that it doesn't seem to be the same anymore. Then again, constantly changing and reinventing himself (and the others) is what Manson does. He's an artist.
I can see we aren't going to agree on much, except that they make great music. It's all a matter of personal opinion. I hope it doesn't affect us getting along though. You seem interesting, I'd hate to mess up the opportunity to hear your theories.
Yes, the bass in "Only" is nice, and I did know who did it. Somehow it didn't sink in. I must have been busy.
Yelekiah
Jan 6 2006, 07:37 AM
As long as there's Manson and Pogo it's all good imo.

They were the original two members, and they are still here, still making music. Now I was fairly certain you meant Manson was over as in ending. A lot of people do because he released Lest We Forget.
QUOTE
I hope it doesn't affect us getting along though.
No, I'm not mad at you or anything. When I don't use emoticons it always gets me into trouble. I'm very blunt sometimes. Here is my emoticon to show that I am in a happy mood.

It had nothing to do with "Lest We Forget", I promise. I'd completely forgotten about it. I'm just philosphical and creative in my opinions. I come across as very unusual and sometimes that gets me on the wrong side of people. Nature of the artist, I suppose.
I'm not an airhead, just because I forget though. It just means I've been working lately and push everything except my work out of my head. Right now I'm taking a break from composing some car crash scenes for Monday. It's a delicate balance I'm trying to achieve. I'm working with a new group, so I can't shock the pants off them like I try with the veterans...but I'm not going to take any of their weakness either. It defeats the purpose of the training session.

Ebony
Jan 6 2006, 04:39 PM
I'm unusual? As if everyone here is that conventional though. I have a thing for unusual people. A nice idea about them.
I suppose, people think I'm odd because I have a tendency to deal with irrational situations creatively. For instance, today some random girl told me my boyfriend was cheating on me and described it quite explicitly. I screamed, and cried and smashed a glass on the floor...she told me she was sorry I was hurt but she was still going to take him from me. I told her she'd have a really difficult time of it because I'd fight her for him.
Trick is, I don't actually have a boyfriend. That was my brother she was after...and he's gay. Still, why ruin a good opportunity to mess with a liar like that? I hate blatant liars.
