The fact that you give credit to the number 666 illustrates you are Christian; Therefore you are ensured that it will not end on June 6th due to the fact that in the bible it says nobody shall know when the end of the world is coming.

I'm sorry, but if its the 666 thing, which I totally dont believe in, wouldnt it be 6/6/2066 or 6/6/6666 ?!?! I'm sorry, I believe in a lot of supersticious stuff, but thats not one!

okay, I'm gonna give you all an FYI now, that whole 666 thing. it's totally wrong. a monk in the 4th century (I think, but the date isn't important) mis-translated it, it isn't the number of the 'beast'. the actual number is 616, it was the number given to Nero.

so the whole "the world will end on 06/06/2006" theory, I think its safe to say its not gonna happen. no-one and nothing know's when the world will end.

I wrote a rant on my own site about the annual panic-fest Christians have whenever New Years rolls around. They do this every year.
They did it in the '80s....
They did it in the '90s....
They did it when the new Millennium started.
And they're still doing it now.

It's depressing, frankly. The world is always loaded with disasters and wars and such. Consulting scripture, and watching CNN really doesn't help.

Yeah, really. Time is man-made (well, calenders are anyway). That whole thing is like the "don't step on a crack, you'll break your back" thing. There is really no good reasoning other than just being paranoid.

Isn't 666 a mistranslation in the bible? I thought it was really 616.
So I guess 6/6/06 wouldn't be the end, even if somehow the bible said, "666 is the date of the end". In fact, the bible promotes that no angel, person, or even son of God in human form will know the date of the end.

yeah but it staes the number of the beast being 666, also it the numbers 7 and ten come into but people seem to ignore that.

one of my teachers said that,the number 666 is wrong because the people that made the bible or wrote it,all them people,he said that the romans or sumtin of the roman catholic church and every number meant somthing,and i think it was if it was written down 3 times,it meant perfect,so 3 is the trinity and blah blah yadda yadda yadda,and the number 6 meant nothing,so 666 meant perfectly nothing,i don't know if hes right or not,so don't get mad at me if i'm wrong

The number 7 was considered lucky by the Hebrews; hence 777 was a perfect number and may have represented God. 666 or 616 are imperfect numbers so they represent Satan, or Nero as some say.

Time isn't a force. Gravity is a force, magnetism is a force, time is a concept. Things change, i.e. don't stay the same so man came up with the concept of time and ways to measure it.

Actually they do give a good scientific explanation, about why it doesn't always work. They blame it on The Second Law of Thermodynamics, basically entropy.

I guess Ill just have to keep an open mind about the whole situation, and trust me if i win a million dollars youll be the first one to know, I might even send you 3 grand just to let u know it works.
