Here's a topic for ya...

For those who have religous beliefs in the "bible", do any of you believe in the "bible codes"?

What is interesting is the mathmatical genius behind it all and that it is all related to the Maya Calendar and ends in 2012. Supposively the bible codes are stating that all things come to an end for the World in 2012.

World War III will strike among us between 2006 - 2012 between 4 Major countries. Those are China, Korea, Isreal, and ofcourse the U.S.

China is just itchin to press that red button on us to grab our attention, and what slaves me is that Bush isn't paying attention by playing big brother too much in Iraq. If Bush or our government doesn't start focusing on China and take them seriously things could get real messy out there.

Then in the Wall Street Journal there is an article that was written that everyone sort of put on the back burner. That the asteroid Apophisis or however you spell the damn thing, is going to strike earth sometime between 2029 - 2036. They said it isn't going to miss at all and they are more facts leaning towards a direct hit with it's path & course it has.

The bible code states that our solar system will have an asteroid belt or string of comets that pass the sun every so many millions of years and that around 2012 those comets and asteroids will enter our system.

I can see these two things really happening just because of the evidence that is taking place right now scientifically, and politically.

The bible code sems to be pretty accurate.... then again, it has its moments to be wrong.

I don't know what I think, but it's fascinating to read!

Just MHO but I've always believed Bible codes are crap. You can use the same decryption keys in pretty much any novel and com eujp with hidden "codes".

Doesn't Korea have the biggest standing army in the world? Plus they have nukes.

And Israel is surronded by 100 million hostile people, and still exists. Plus they have nukes.

I would give credit to both as major world countries, both politically and militarily.

The Bible Codes Are Only found in th hebru Bible. And why not the christion Bible and the same stuff is in the Book moby DICK . and that is why i don't belive in the bible codes

yeap ill prolly be drinking and then cheers to all who are at that time but as far as comparing bible codes to codes withith other books of the same length heres my view.

as i dont tend to belive in the bible codes the fact is that, other books say "mobey dick" they dont contain all the exact codes...
so lets say the bible says the nine things are gonna happen an mobeys say just three of those things happing, is this mere probability?

now if moby said all nine would happen when the bible said the same thing (in order of course) then i would rule the two codes both out as a hoax, well untill this happen ill say that the codes are neither faulse nor factual because given any unknown amount of time all things are probable (forgive me,, but yes given enough technolgy monkey could fly out of every ones asses).
it is interseting though, that given the codes found withen the bible which we see are correct as in actually happening, no one has yet found another book with as accuate coding as it is written and coded within the bible.

so im still on the fence here, but the bible is by far unique for that..

well if the world comes to an end like the bible says than at least we will all die together, as 1 mess up race that poisened the once pure once beautiful Earth

So much is left to interpriation that it is hard to believe in any one theory about the "codes"

Any book can have so called "codes". To think all this was pre-planned is giving a lot of credit to it's writers, who in my opinion were less than genius. The only way of explaining that they had the ability to predict future events and THEN post these events secretively in a book about "God" is that they must have been from another planet. In this discussion, we are not going to go there. Secondly, why would one mask these predictions and for what reason? To freak us out? My vote on the Bible code is "NO". Thanks.

Wait the Mayan calender didn't say that the world was going to end in 2012 just the fifth reign of mankind, by an earthquake. The bible codes are just weird period. I was watching a special on tv a while back and the person looking for bible codes put his own name and supposedly found his whole family tree like the names of his parents and such. Do the revelations depress you in a any way? I feel depressed reading them. I mean what kind of future does that leave for us? I am still young.....

the earth cannot reborn.. i do not even understand what you are trying to say, unless you are meaning some kind of mass human genocide (similar to the dinosaurs), and in that case maybe it will happen but it is not being "reborn"
