OMG chasing after a jackle? THEY WERE FERAL DOGS! feral dogs are notorious for chasing jackle. I had someone in the neibour panic and said they saw a large black demonic looking wolf prowling the backwoods when my mother asked when we soon found out that their evil black wolf was just my dog LOL I take him for off leash walks there and the trees are thick so sometimes he ends up on the otherside so they see a big black animal with no owner and panic. SO ridiculous

Well, he started this one, and in the Spirituality forum he hijacked a thread and said he was a prophet for the gods, and in another thread he says he's familiar with 'hookswords' and enjoys running on all fours and growling. This, he assumes, is because he is reincarnated. He also remembers fighting at some battle at Kemet or something.

I fail to see the point in arguing about the guy's apparent inability to distinguish between reality and interesting fiction. The point has been made. If you don't like him, ignore him. I've not heard much about these creatures, which is unusual. I've never heard of them being here in Australia, so my knowledge is sadly limited. What I've basically been able to gather is that they are some kind of lesser demon taking the form of a dog. The description varies from then on, but they're thought to be linked to Cerberus. Am I even remotely on the right track here? Does anyone know their purpose? I know of some creatures who supposedly walk the earth tracking down souls for the devil that sometimes take the form of animals, especially canine types. Perhaps this is a relation?

It's disconcerting not to know something like this, I've usually done a heap of research on these things. Anyone who would like to help point me in the right direction, thankyou. There's a lot of info to wade through...

alright, i'm not really paying attention to where the forum has gone since yesterday i'm just here to post what i was going to when all of a sudden the servers went down. but anyways, i was about to post the napolean dynamite quote about hunting wolverines to further question the topic starter's credibility seeing how other's have revealed his other accounts to be hoaxes but someone beat me to it.

but yeah, if it were someone more convincing i would have said how hellhounds are believed to be big black dogs with red eyes, resembling what breed i don't know, but with about three heads, and ALOT of snakes, of what species exactly again i don't know but the diagram i saw of it showed them to be green sort of resembling vipers or phytons, but that was just a diagram so who the hell knows which exact species. anyways, they are supposedly creatures who guard the gates of hell who would want to get IN to hell i don't know but i guess maybe it was for those trying to get out? lol. but yeah, they had other legends of what they do but when i read all this i was too young to remember. they are supposedly said to be guards of one of the many 'gateways' of hell. particulary one in south america i think it was. it showed a map of where they are supposedly located, which was somewhere in the lower middle of south america. im not sure if they guard alllll the gateways or just that one. all i know is that they guard that one for sure according to people who say they exist. i think when people say gateways, they don't mean that hell is actually inside earth, just that there are 'portals' to it, yet i don't think you can actually go through it. there is supposedly one in kentucky inside the ruins of a church. something horrible happened in that church but i don't remember the story either so i'm not even gonna try and guess. all i know is that the roof is missing of the church yet when it rains none ever falls on the floor. i do remember that when the pope was flying over kentucky he made the pilot fly all the way around it stating something along the lines of, 'he didn't want to fly over the unholy ground.' there used to be flyers soliciting people to come to the kentucky church on halloween night to see the devil himself that it was 'unlike any other thing you will ever see' or something, i remember seeing a picture of it on a website telling the story of the place. however the owner of the property grew sick of people coming and wouldn't let people actually get close enough. yet there are still stories of people seeing the actual devil coming out of it. once the police even told the owner to just let people do it just this year so they can find that it doesn't exist and leave it alone finally, yet the owner didn't let them, as if he had something to hide. there were even news vans placed there in case somethinf did happen a couple times. there is also said to be a stairway next to the gateway that if you go down it you will never reach the bottom, and yet when you come up no matter how little time you were down there, be it one or 2 minutes, 2 weeks will have passed sometimes. there are more stories of things like that over where i'm from though, yet they are far and few. anyways, i figured the gateways to hell were somewhat linked to the hellhounds so i might as well tell what i knew about each. so the way i figure is that if you see a hellhound, you are close to hell, and if you are close to hell, the devil can't be far behind. supposedly the devil does have a 'throne' here on earth, and supposedly jesus said he has seen it and knew where it was it in the scripture, but who knows. im not saying i know exactly which verse, just that i saw it somewhere on the net. again they are just legends, but then again so were ghosts at one time. peace.

I think it is just that AnuKabal is copping a flogging in here, as most of us (I assume) are here for a read on what is actually happening, or discuss what is plausible. The fantasy stories this fellow puts out are entrtaining to a certain extent, but there are sites more appropriate for that sort of thing. Claiming to hunt wendigoes, father bring home a feral child, in touch with the almighty, brother sees hellhounds the list goes on. Perhaps the Steve Alten site might be more appropriate for these stories. Ra is Egyptian, and he hunts American Wendigoes, his Dad is in Africa, geezz this guy is well traveled !!!

I'm from Oz too, but I'm a Cane Toad you Cockroach (Friendly footy rivalry for those outside the country) We don't seem to have a great deal of activity here do we Except that big pussy cat the fellow shot in Victoria last year. Hardly even hear of a yowie outside the Blue Mountains these days, Shark's seem to have stolen the spotlight lately.

The only time I have heard of Hellhounds is in the movie "Crossroads" where a fellow sold his sould to the devil and had to get it back (Hellhounds on my trail). Great movie, especially if you play guitar. I enjoyed it thouroughly. Not much on Hellhounds in there, but I assume that literature on America's deep south might be a good place to start.

As I suggested, why don't you two communicate?? PM, email etc. It is very obvious that your view is not the general view in this forum. There are places for this sort of fiction, and I am sure that the both of you would be very welcome there, obivoulsy, you both have a great deal in common.
From my understanding, this is not a story telling forum, it is a place to discuss cryptid activity (this particular section), possibilities, breaking news issues, debates, issues etc. If you had not noticed, you seem to be the only fan that AnuKabal has. It is very annoying to enter a thread thinking someone may have something to contibute, only to find a story (Story being the operative word here) that is plainly BS, yet touted and argued as truth. Kinda cheezes the average thinking person off.

It most certainly could be, in fact quite likely, as I expect was the story of the unholy house in the Urban Legends section of this forum wherre human nature and powers of persuasion take over and create myths/legends, however,

1 Incubus420 did not claim to have been involved in any way, or personally know anybody involved in this story.

2. Icubus420 diid not claim to be a devil, demon or other creature/cryptid etc

3 Incubus420 did not claim to be possesed by the house, or anything in it
