Alright, I dunno if this topic had been posted before but here it goes...

Two nights ago I had a dream about that I was at my grandma's house, trying to catch a mouse. When I finally caught it in my hands, it started to bite me. It hurt alot... Thats when I woke up.

Then last night I had a dream that I had a tooth that cracked right down in the middle and everytime I bite down, my mouth would get locked into that position. So when I go to the dentist, he gives me a shot on my arm to knock me out, which I felt. But the shot didnt really knock me out, I was just drowsy. So the dentist assumed I was knocked out and he began to pull it out. He pulled it out, which didnt really hurt that much, but after that I felt like I was bleeding and some of the warm droplets got onto my face. Then my dream phases forward, to which Im at home and rinsing my mouth with warm water. Then I woke up.

Is there an explaination to feeling pain or anything else in my dreams? Is the pain-self inflicted, for an example I would be knawing on my own hand in the first dream?

Here is what some of your dream symbols mean!!!!

To see your grandmother in your dream, represents nurturance, protection, and unconditional love. Consider the qualities and characteristics that exist in your own grandmother.

To dream of your hands, represents your relationship to those around you and how you connect with the world. Hands serve as a form of communication. Perhaps you need to lend out a helping hand to someone. In particular, the left hand symbolizes your graciousness and feminine, receptive qualities. And the right hand symbolizes masculine, active attributes. It may also be a pun for some decision or something being "right".

To see mice in your dream, symbolizes domestic problems, business loss, deceit, and insincere friends. It represents minor problems in which you are spending too much time dwelling on.

To dream that you are being bitten, represents your vulnerability regarding your unresolved issues emotions. You may be pestered by a problem or obstacle.

To dream that your teeth is lose, signifies failures and bad news.

To dream that you are in pain, signifies that you are being too hard on yourself with regards to a situation that was out of your control. It may also be a true reflection of real pain that exists somewhere in your body. Dreams can reveal and warn about health problems.

To dream that you are at the dentist, signifies periodic doubt over the sincerity and honor of some person. You may have some anxiety or fear of pain, but in the long run it will be for your own good.

you didn't really give him an answer, just someone's false definitions to some key words... dream interperting is a personal thing an should not be done over the internet. Anyway, just to comment, oncet I was dreaming it rained and I felt rain on my face when I wokeup but it quickly went away... I doubt you knawed on your own hand, (when you sleep your body paralyses itself, usually) it's probably an illusion.

Yes you can feel pain in dreams. Lactic acid in muscles (lack of?), something like that. It's pretty common.

It's possible to feel pain in your dreams, being self-inflicted or just imagination . . . can be both. A small percentage is self-inflicted, the majority is imagination.

I didn't know you could get Lactic acid while you were sleeping, at least not large amounts of it.
If it is Lactic acid it's probably due to having too much (as Lactic acid is toxic), I only thought it occured during exercise.....

I've had simlar dream pains. Like for no reason, I was at the top of Cinderlla's tower in Disenyland, and these FBI were after me, so I jumped. And it hurt really bad until I woke up.

Perhaps it produces more, I forget which, but it causes pain in muscles while you are dreaming. Sometimes anyway.

Before I ever have pain or near-death in dreams I wake up, I don't know if that helps or not, but Ive been through alot of "pain" dreams.

From a flood, a firestorm, getting shot, kidnapped, nearly handcuffed and thrown in a trunk, getting punched in the b*lls, all of my teeth falling out, a comet hitting the earth from a thousand or so feet away. They were all "wake up before you die" dreams. I did wake up.

Thanks for the feed-back guys! Im sorry I couldnt get back to you as soon as possible. Lactic Acid? Like fermentation when your body lacks oxygen?

I had a really weird dream last night, in which I was shot in the chest. I didn't wake up right away; the dream went on for some time but when I did wake I had this weird chest pain.

It faded throughout the morning (the less I thought of the dream) which makes me think it was largely mental. I also had pretty bad gas yesterday.
