Did he? I didn't know that. He's probably best known for his comedy scripts for TV shows such as Blackadder and The Young Ones. But he wrote one of the funniest books I've ever read - Stark! Not to mention Gridlock, though it doesn't quite reach the heights of Stark. He's also a prominent Crime writer, mixing murder/mystery with black comedy at times.

Hi Dixiepixie
I don't know why, but I just can't get into Stephen King's books, Dean Koontz books or fiction in general. But I absolutely love Stephen King's movies as you'll see in the thread I'm posting today. I guess I'm more of a visual action person. In other words, I have to see it on the screen in action to enjoy it. It's the same thing with history. I never did well in History but I love to see movies about it. Gee, if he hasn't already done so, I wish Dean Koontz would make a movie based on one of his books.

He has made several that you can find in most video stores. They were usually made-for-tv movies but if you like King movies, you'd like them.

I really only have 2 writers that I read religiously. Stephen King. Ann Rule, for those who might not know, she is a true crime writer from the Pacific northwest. She was the one who wroter "Stranger Beside Me" about Ted Bundy, she worked with him on a suicide hotline. Yep, during the time of the murders!
