hiya. my name is angela. i am 11 years old. my b-day is on february 1st . i have been haunted since i was about 2 or 3. the only people who know are my 2 closest friends. my parents don't know. i have seen many tyhings, bnut mostly i just hear them or sesnse something other than me in an empty room. i have seen orbs of light in my room, walking shadows, white faces, and lots more. anyway, this is a problem cause i am kinda a coward and i get freaked out easily.

anyway, anyone have any advice?

oner of my most recent encounters was a few days ago. i was in my room reading a book for school and i saw a dark shadow enter my room then disappear. i was freaked!

he first shadow encounter i have ever had was when i was 3 or 4. i have had a couple encounters before that,but none of them were shadows. i was in my room asleep. i woke up and saw the shadow of a tall, thin, hooded person in my room. i checked the hall to see if anyone was there (i had my door open) but there was no one. i did nbot call my mom cause i was only 4 and i was to scared to even speak. i didn't tell her the next day or ever. to this day i cannot sleep without some kind of light or sound bheacause of that and a couple other expiriences. so i ussually sleep with my tv on =p

This could very well be a demonic presence (from what I know, demons and shadow people are reported to appear as apparations in cloaked robes, and they stand like tall men) I would be careful, and try to stay away from anything that may draw attention to yourself in a negative way, otherwise if ignoring them doesn't help, tell the church or a paranormal investigator, it's important other people know these things

Well, you'd have to illminate the other possibilities, first, it's not rare that your seeing these things, second, it's really up to you to find the cause of these things, you may want to consider looking up your family's history with anything that may have drawn the spirits to you, of course, there is the likely possibility that the spirits have come to break your will power and weren't attracted by anything, demons are, in fact evil spirits that fell from heaven (my theory being is it still goes on) and they have a huge rage and hatred for humans so I'd be careful

Shadow people like to watch they don’t normally interact with people but like to watch people sleep. I have never heard of shadow people harming anyone, if it is indeed a shadow person that’s haunting you. It could possibly just be a spirit they tend to show themselves to younger people.

Yeh you might be surprised. I remember I told my mother I thought that upstairs in the shop were she worked was pretty eerie. She said she felt exactly the same as if someone was watching her as well

Children from birth to about their early teens are reported to often see more spirits then adults do. Although no one can really say for sure why some people see spirits while others cannot. You mention that you are a bit scared of them and if you do believe in a higher being you can ask for protection of white light. I know that may not sound helpful but it works for me. I do hope that you are able to talk with your Mom to see if she or anyone else in your family or friends even have this type of experience. Knowledge is the best weapon we have to face our fears.

i agree with ancestrabone. its true no one know why children and early teens are able to see ghost alot better then adult, i remenber when i was 5 or 6 years old (family circimstance, dont ask) i saw my father standing at the stair way in my grandfathers house (my mother side), bathe in eerie green light, at that time i know that cant be him, and why is he there? at middle of the night. I have to admit, i was scared out of my bones that night, bed shake when ever i try to standup, it took me ages to even sleep that night. i can still remenber that night very clearly. thank goodness those event died down as i get older.

Bolt, I would have expected you to know that not all demons are created equal! They're not all tall dark and hands...er.....gruesome. I believe that most demonic forces never even materialize into a visible apparition. I agree with ED's dyslexic urging, but also wonder if maybe sometimes such attempts are a lost cause for people with certain types of religious upbringing and environments.

I've come across numerous ideas and reports of "shadow people" that indicate they may simply be "mirror" phantasms of someone, maybe even people we know (or US) from another time or dimension, which is why they're only "two-dimensional" - not quite all the way "here"...

hey Angela that sounds like an exteme of wat happened to me as a kid u have two oppsitons #1 fear it/them ( which it sounds like u have) or #2 dont fear them imbrace them let them help u and see wat happens

there my be a couple different things which are causeing this #1 u have a power to see things that no one else can (rember they may be sprits passing though from the pass tenets of the home/property (it is almost possable that someone/ something dyed on the property where u life) or #2 that u have a VERY over active which is not ment as an insult

ps about the orbs some times digital cameras have probles which cause them to have dots "orbs" etc so i thick that maybe that may be why you have multaple pics with them in it i think if they my be a tech mistake( cant think of a better way to discribe it ) any way just wat i think also u never saw them before u took the pic

It's not my dyslexia, my dyslexia isn't that bad. It's a double secret, pinky shake code. But wait you deciphered it, hmm........means I'll have to return all these decoder rings! I hate when that happens.
I too have read about this phantasm thingamadoohickey idea, as it were. I'm not sure how I feel about alternate dimensions, makes me think I'm in a bad issue of x-men or something like that.
I'll have to collect my thoughts and get back to everyone about this one. Alternate dimesions? PHUI!, no wait, maybe they're real, like I said I'm not sure.

That's strange as I have heard that they're are more than 3 categories of shadow people. One of them will physically attack. Regardless, I see shadow people all the time, though I consider it nothing more then glitches in my vision.

Forgive me if I've misread; Anime, I assumed from your first post you saw orbs with your naked eye? i have seen orbs of light in my room, walking shadows, white faces, and lots more. If you meant you obtained orbs via camera does that sentence mean you have other anomalies on film also? If the answer's yes could you post them here? I'd be interested to see, and I'm sure others would too

hi sweety. okay i'm first going to tell you that you need to talk to your parents about this. I used to see a lot of weird things too (most were dreams or my imagination), and the first person I went to was my mother and she'd always make me feel better. Who knows, they may have explinations you may not know about.

Next time you see something, try to find another explination for it. Say like last week I thought I kept seeing someone walk around the corner. When I looked around I realized it was the computer monitor blinking in sleep mode, just outside my vision. Fortunatly not everything has a paranormal explination. Shadow people largly are tricks of the eye so unless you see one straight on I wouldn't give it too much thought. It's best to always try to find the logical explination first. When people see faces, a lot of the time it's what's called matrixing. It's like seeing animals in clouds. human brains look for familiar things, and other faces are the most familiar. An important lesson in life is not to believe everything you see or hear because there are some pretty strange things out there that are a lot mor weird than the idea of a ghost.

I spoke with you not long ago. Your love for anime is a very healthy, creative outlet that you can use to help turn your attention back toward your own life. If you have other hobbies or talents upon which you can build, spend a bit more time on those to create more joy. If the pictures fall from your wall through mysterious means, don't let it upset you. Replace them on your wall and sing a pretty tune while doing so.

The reason why so many children grow out of their relationships with the unseen "friends" is due to them finding worldly pleasures and companionship with the living. Happiness is your best hope for eliminating these forces from your life, so do whatever makes you happy. Any direct confrontations toward the entities only justifies their efforts.

I strongly advise reading HK's post in the Spirit Possessions thread before attempting to help Angela (Anime Tenshi). I'm not going to rush to judgment on this case, but it's certainly a possibility that Angela is suffering in a similar manner to Rosemary.

Some paranormal discussion is for the empowerment of individuals: gaining control of one's dreams and soul for example. However, to inquire about the spirits by whom one is being haunted only magnifies the obsession with them. Those of you who have no patent experience with malevolent entities outside of nightmares are exercising ignorance in advising one in the midst of haunting. And you're dealing with a minor, albeit one more perceptive than many co-workers I've had. Please be mindful of that.

Angela's answers are within herself. They are not within the spirits. In their own way, they have the potential to help her find those answers, but she must look inward rather than outward. The best any living person can do is help Angela to help herself. But inquiring about proof of spirits via photography or otherwise only shifts her focus away from herself and her recovery.

Study the contrast carefully between the two posts. She's telling everyone now that she doesn't need or want help by claiming to be happy. Do her the favor of not addressing her directly and she'll find comfort in the friends she can hug, when needed.
