Well, If they are unknown, then we don't know what they are and how they look like rolleyes.gif

makaya325. not sure if you do a great deal of conversing on the net, however, using all capitals gives the impression of shouting and is considered quite rude.

And you don't post more than one thread about the same topic.

STOP YELLING AT ME!!!

Seriously, im not going to go as far as naming 10 different criptids, but I will name a few that are likely real, and a few that are not, IMO.

Real

The Bloop
If you dont know, its supposed to be a sea creature that could be twice as big as a blue whale if not bigger. The fact that it is a deep sea creature and most of the information about it is scientific only stregthens its case. We just dont know whats really down there.

On the fence

The mothman
Im not going to go as far as to say im a dedicated believer in the mothman, but the fact remains, something happened to that town. And when I heard about the appearance of those "men in black" (the guys that went around town talking to witnessess) I got really freaked out. People said they barely looked human.

Lake Monsters
There has never been a shortage of sea monster films, but until I see one that is clear, unshaky, and close in to the suspected monster, I will never be a true believer.

Fake

Bigfoot
The cryptid of all cryptids, and the fakest of all cryptids. This is one of the oldest cases of an unknown species, and thats one of the reasons I have no faith in it. You would think by now, with all these groups and people looking for the elusive bigfoot on a daily basis, they would turn something up, but after almost a century of looking, they have found no live or dead bodies. I know there has been tons of "eye witnesses" but until I see something better than the Patterson film I will always have a skepticisms about this one. FAKE!

Chupacabra
C'mon. Do I really have to explain this one? No pics or videos. Just a few dead chickens and a couple poor witnesses that are probably making money from thier claims. The history channel has to have some kind of payment for embarassing yourself by going on tv and saying you saw a Chupacabra. FAKE!

The Bloop seems to be the basis for the marine cryptid on the 'Surface' series on NBC. I'd heard of it before, though the reports seem oddly hush-hush.

Why. may I ask, would such a thing be a secret? That's a good possibility of a real-life animal in the ocean. Unlike other cryptids, in which you have shady eyewitness reports, here we have solid aufio of what seems to a bona fide creature.

Dont the things in Surface come from the center of the planet? God that show sucks. hahaha

Yes, and no.

Actually, they're marine vertebrates, and mammalian.
They were spotted by a subterranean probe, and were swimming in rivers of magma. Don't ask me why..that was some screwed-up science conjured up by the writiers.

They were, in fact, genetically-engineered life forms, created by a team of scientists. The show isn't bad, IMHO, but a few of the scientific explanations were real hokey.

If for no other reason, I watch it to see what Lake Bell is wearing. w00t.gif
