Oh that is HILARIOUS.
You know, the more people talk about how God is doing all this stuff to test faith or to punish us for not worshipping Him or whatever, the more they portray God as the same childish insecure entity that populates so many mythologies.

what an extreme hoax... considering
China – reference to “dragon bones” about 300 B.C.E.
Central Asia – legend of the griffin may be based on Protoceratops
North America – Indians living in western areas underlain by Mesozoic sedimentary rocks explained dinosaur bones as the remains of former animals
SW Africa – cave paintings of animals making dinosaur tracks

Yep these guys are Christians that don't believe in dinos because it doesn't say dinos in the bible. But for those people who believe evolution and a belief in the Biblical God can be compatible, there definately are dinos in the bible. They are called Tannin in the Bible a word that means "great monsters" and according to Genesis, were created after the fish and before birds and mammals which is quite an extraordiary insight for something written 2500 years ago.
What makes this seem incompatible with real earth history though is that these Tannin actually live on into the historical period according to the Bible. But what these people do not undertand is that Tannin can be the dinosaurs which in fact died out 65 million years ago, or "dragons", which are heavenly supernatural creatures also known as Seraphim, which are now often confused with improbable, winged humanoid "angels".
If we accept the Bible as true regarding heavenly ceatures however, we still see a compatibility with evolution and a long creation. For these Seraphim, (which means a winged reptile) are also considered the highest/most senior heavenly creatures. Therefore, if there is a "God" we can imagine him selecting some kind of pterosaur or dinosaur to improve to become the first servant creatures over 100 million years ago, and the more familiar, human like angels (none of which have wings in the Bible), would not come on the seen until the evoultion of true, modern humans in the last few hundred thousand years.
Most Christian fundamentalists do not understand enough of the bible to perceive these things, so one of their camps merely states that dino fossils are fakes to test and deceive us, and the other states dinos lived along with people until Noahs flood killed most of them, but even here, because "dragons" are mentioned many times in the Bible after the flood, they assume Noah put dinosaurs on the ark also! This is why many of these people are ardently into cryptozoology, because they believe if a lost dino is found, it will validate the Bible. If they researched the "dragons" in the bible more carefully though, they would discover that they are heavenly creatures and not simply giant, wild animals. Scriptures refer to them residing in Heaven, being sent to devour sinners or threaten prophets, burn wicked cities, etc. It is strange as well, that these same creatures have been believed in by virtually every human culture for thousands of years.
