hi im a new para investigator and would appreciate any help i can get. i have a female friend that thinks she is being haunted. from some of the things she explains a haunting is understandable but in the same instance i feel like it may be psychokinetic. other people have seen things move but she is the only one to have heard it speak or to have seen the shadow figure. plus her and her best friend have experienced the same dream during the same night. im wondering if it is possible if because of her abusive past that she may have built up energy projecting itself with out her knowledge and if this is so what steps can she take to relieve the stress of this phenom? any help would be greatly appreciated.

You are not providing enough information for a determination, please explain exactly what is happening, otherwise this is probably the last response you will get here.

Any thoughts?

I agree additional information and clarification would be helpful.

Are you referring to the possibility of recurrent spontaneous psychokinesis, as in poltergeist phenomena? Females and stress, trauma and abuse do tend to be a good "breeding ground" for RSPK, as you seem to know. When did it start, etc?

I don't believe in spirits so I go for the RSPK explanation for this type of situation and myself am most concerned when people "hear" voices and see things - to me, this is a mental hazard including hallucinations - if there were any way at all, she sounds like she at LEAST needs to take a vacation or "get away" from whatever is going on, for a few days. Keeping a dream journal would probably help her as well - FAITHFULLY, not just "now and then".
