Well hello,

I guess I will start with this. I'm a 26yr old male. Birthday (9-17-79) Virgo

What I want to do is share this dream I had with you, and then ask if anyone knows what it could symbolize or mean. All ideas are welcomed, and encouraged.

So here goes:

I dreamed that I was in a Vehicle, A minivan... On a winding, rocky dirt road, and going way to fast and I wasn't driving. I was surrounded by complete strangers and I was in the backseat, (I was mad at them), (I don't know exactly why?) But I remember being pissed at them. The van went around a familiar turn, (familiar as in it felt as if I had been there before), then plunged into water. Only the water sorta just came from no where, it was all very sudden. Just as the entire vehicle filled with water, "I thought to myself, omg, I'm going to drown."

Then I woke up.

I know it's crazy huh? Well, I've had that same dream like 4 times now....

What does the out of control in a vehicle mean?

What does the drowning mean?

Does the fact I was surrounded by complete strangers mean anything?

And again, like I said before... I am open to all theories and can answer any questions...if needed.

Eek, can't do dreams... Clairvoyancy, dudes... Haha!

Anyways about the dream.... Hmm...

The vehicle is your life. The rocky road is what's going on in your life right now. How you describe the mini-van speeding like mad describes your outlook on your life. To you, your life is just rushing past you, and you're trying to grab hold. The strangers are your family, or ones you are very close to, yet they seems like strangers because you've isolated yourself from them. They probably don't understand you or something happened that made you angry. The drowning... It's what's happening right now. Something is rishing up inside of you, and you're trying to grasp hold of it, but it's overcoming you and you want it to stop.

Hope I helped.

Correct, mostly.....when i went to investigate all this across the expanse of the interweb...

I found many places and sources that describe the exact same thing.....

I do agree, I have had a rough life this past year or so......I'm not so sure the strangers are my family, but more "others" who sorta have control of my life. It's kinda a very complex situation but my future cannot move on without the help from a few others who I am in no control over.......so I wait.

This time will pass I am sure, but it will only happen at the pace of "them".....

Soon I will be free'd from this an all will be good....

But yes, ( I Want This to Stop ), I am tired of it and have served plenty of my time.....

This does not have anything to do with Jail, but it does have to do with a "license" to drive.

Although a simple "license" will not solve all my problems, with it certain opportunities which have been available for quite some time open up and I cannot move toward that without it...

ps. I refuse to believe you are 13!

I hope it all works out for you my friend. Have faith! grin2.gif

It is important to understand what dreams actually are. So, to begin with let us consider the following:
Our dreams are primarily how our sleeping mind perceives the influences that have a significant impact on our mental well being.
In real life what is a vehicle? It is something that gets us from point A to point B. In your dream your 'mental vehicle' is relatively the same. Except it is your awareness, your consciousness that is attempting to get to another level. The winding road is symbolic of the difficulty with which you are making the mental 'trip'. The fact that you are not driving is the most important element of the dream. The fact that you are in the backseat speaks to why the journey is so hard in the first place. Water represents emotion. In your dream you think you are going to drown. The emotions surrounding the 'mental trip' are high and self consuming. Growth is seldom easy.

Your 'mental self' is experiencing growth and needs to move on to a higher level of thought process. This growth is being impeded by the negative thought processes of others. Perhaps you are leaning to much on the advice of your friends, family, and co-workers and not enough on your own instincts.

perhaps

.....only my instincts I have always trusted and always never doubted....

What happens when your own personal intelligence surpasses every person around you?

Not to be conceded in any way, but I think that is what's happening also.....

Now, I consider myself pretty smart, I finished High School with a 3.2 gpa, I got a 31 on my ACT score....33 being the highest, I have read every type of book from religion to engineering to fictional novels.....

Perhaps this is why I extend myself out into this forum and look for answer's.....It is my hope to converse with other "intelligent" people.....or at least people who are not utterly blown away by a simple philisophical conversation....

At any rate, you are involved in a mental journey...you are here...your thought process wants to be there...and it is assessing information as to why it is not there yet.

Birds of a feather flock together...Eagles soar alone.

Perhaps your own growth is stagnant precisely because your own personal intelligence surpasses every person around you?

I have found myself in situations where I was definitely the smartest person in the room....when that happens the room becomes small and uncomfortable...like a pair of shoes that don't fit right. Look around for some new shoes. original.gif

New Shoes.......I like it.....I guess that's why they say it's lonely at the TOP.....

It's been very helpful, Thanks!!!
