well, you can stop from hurting other`s fealings unintentionaly. Also, you can block other people`s emotions from getting to you with a shield. So you don`t have to deal with empathy all the time. Especialy around crowded places.

It is somewhat of a blessing in a curse, I guess. When I was a kid I thought I was just a wussy and weak-minded, which I think I probably was. It would get so bad I feel people's pain if they were injured. It was pretty terrible experience being in the hospital with all the other cancer kids, because I feel could their deep pain and sadness. I used to cry when I got home after radiation therapy about it. It's so not fair for young people to go through what they had to go through. But, they seemed to cope with it pretty well. I sort of learned to not let it affect me through meditation. But, it still affects me greatly in my life. I guess it's very hard sometimes who you really are. Many times I wish I wasn't so greatly affected by other's pain and emotions. I just sort of notice it coming and try to stow it away so I can deal with the emotional person.

My life is somewhat hellish right now because my brother/roommate has a personality disorder and battles with depression. I feel it, and it's hard for me to be depressed too. The energy is just so strong from him, I can feel when he is angry or depressed when he's not even in the room. He took the test and scored a 40%, so he definitely has tendencies in being one. His moods swings just really affect me, and it's hard for me to make them not. I might a technique they suggest and visualizing a psychic white bubble around me when I meditate, and whenever his moods are swinging. Well, see how that works.

On a side note, maybe Bill Clinton is really an empath, and he could really "feel your pain." I thought it was a funny thought.

Yeah, all you have to do is put up a shield around yourself, and program it to filter out all the empathy. Then you shouldn`t have any problems .

One of my best friends died this afternoon wrecking his motorcycle. He was 24, had a 16 month old daughter, and had been married for less than two years.

Everything I've read about out OBEs caused by death say that the person is usually found to remain in the ethiric level of the astral world until they run out of ethiric energy, or that sometimes they remain wanderers untill they come to terms with how their life quest has concluded. In any case, that makes me strongly believe that his spirit should be rather easy to reach through ethiric projection.

What do you guys think? I know this is not a physichic forrum or anything, but the concept of contaction the spirits of the deceased falls under the same catagory as reaching your spirit guides and that is well within the abilities of the seasoned projector.

Would love to have any input on this, I have been working on projection for about a month and ordered a ton of books on the subject a few weeks ago. Now I've got a real project to fire it all up on. If anyone out there would be interested in attempting to contact my friend please reply to me.

As an empath, your story really affects me deeply. I am sorry for your loss. I know how it feels. To look on the bright side, he died doing something he probably loved and knew there were risks involved while biking. I feel as soon as he realizes what happen I think he should be fine. He's truly in a better place now. I feel he was a good person, that is why it so hard for you to take. I feel he may have people/spirits helping through the whole process.

I'm sorry, but I can't contact him through projection. I haven't really even my feet wet as of yet. If I try later to project, again. If I get through okay. I'll see what I can do.

I had that happen to me too twice its either a sound of a balloon bursting right next to your ear or a wooden stick bash something i heard something about a door or something that when your consciousness leaves your body it hears a sound *click* as passing through a door anyways this might mean that the door is closed or something but i dont really know why it sometimes can be heart in an attempt to project just ignore it i dont get any sounds now and it easier to attempt to project without all these *cling* *pop* sounds

On the first things, I wasn't projecting just writing a message and then pop back behind my eyes and sinuses in the real world. Is possibly my pineal gland popping? I read somewhere that the pineal gland is your third eye. Maybe, I'll do more research.

On the second thing, when did you see this. Were you projecting, dreaming or in real life? Perhaps your are getting flashes of your former life.

I think that in my former lives I was a Native American, who died when I jumped off a somewhat steep cliff while chasing game. I also think I was a cat or a rat in 1940's New York City that was killed by a bicycle (this was a recurring dream I had as a kid for many years on and off). I don't know I only get flashes every once and a while, and this is what I have surmised so far from them.

I feel that there is the possibility of intelligent beings other than humans in this realm. What I've been told by my guides in my dreams is that humans are the "children of the universe." So maybe, since we are children we are not yet maybe evolved to the point of inter-dimensional travel. I guess you could consider the astral planes and ethereal planes other dimensions. Maybe this 2012 stuff is going to be us getting the ability to openly travel to other dimensions. How cool would it be if we could just travel back and forth as much as we wanted? The reason I bring this up is because my guides constantly say something "big" is coming. They say other things about the something "big," but I think that's personal I don't know yet. I don't know much in way of dates or specifics from them, maybe they're not going to tell me everything. I guess I have to use my own personal discernment. I read on metaphysical site that is pro-2012 that when it happens people will sleep for 4 days. Wouldn't it be cool if we all astrally projected together as humans to the other realm. That would be nuts!

OMG i dunno but when i heard the 2012 thing it reminded me of dreams i used to have when i was a kid OMG i just remembered i dreamed that i saw aliens and humans together like we had made contact or something and living together with them.. the weird part is that all those dreams ended with me seeing a newspaper or anything where i read the date.. i think it was 2010 or 2011 or something... that point of the dream felt really real... i know this was a normal dream but its still weird cause it was the same date and i always woke up after seeing it.... any thoughts?

Earlier This morning around 5:15 I made it out I walked out side to my front porch but I was drawn back into my body after a few minutes I did a visualization technique and relaxation technique I tensed up my muscles then relaxed them starting at me feet and going all the way up to my face I visualized my block as I was entering sleep paralysis and then I got the buzzing noises and the sound of rushing air in my ears then I was out I was transported to my front step.

Everything looked the same except I was able to put my hands through objects with very little resistance.

Any ways...I've found that a good technique for me is that when I'm in the right state, I realize that 'I can move', and that I 'have done this before', and I can start moving my consiouness around without my body.

Once, the night before I got to go home at last, after months of boarding school in England, I got to go home to America, I did that, and I got up, and left my body behind. The whole time, I had felt myself hovering above myself (if that makes any sense), and I just thought: 'I can move, you know...'- and so I did. I pushed myself up onto my hip, and checked that I hadn't woken my sister up, and when I was certain that I hadn't, I looked up, and suddenly I was following the flight path my plane would take the next day. I went on like this for a little while, and then I got bored, so I blinked, and I was back at home, though not at my house. I was at my old school, with my old school family, my fellow Tandemites.

I know that this really happened, because when I got home, my mumma told me the same story from her point of view. Everything matched. It was well cool!

Wow seems you are doing great progress everyone for me i almost got mad yesterday i think i spent too much time in trance or something because as i read if there isn't balance between the two sides (physical and astral) when the one becomes psychotic or something anyways my mind was unconsciously seeing faces eyes and other stuff i saw these famous shadow people it was really scary but after awhile i managed to shield myself by visualizing that i am on metal disc and that a glass tightly shut the disc anyways shield yourself or you might get the same thing as me

Yeah, I have a feeling "big" is actually is going to happen soon. And I have a good feeling it may start to happening before 2012, but I don't know exactly. I think the first tipping point that something is going to happen is UFO disclosure. In my dreams, they have told me that this going to be a psychological event, where people without open minds may have problems with what happens. They said people with psychological issues and unforgiving bias are going to have the hardest time with what with the upcoming events. I have a feeling it may start with Alien contact (perhaps 2010 or 2011?). Because they said that the aliens aren't just beings from other worlds, but Angels who would be considered on earth "Ancients." Which I guess maybe some of them are from ancient civilizations and have evolved to their status as Elohim, which they tell me they are. I found out from wikipedia, Elohim in Hebrew means "blessed ones."

They also said that these events would be a "very positive experience," though before these events happen some more bad things may happen. They also said the worst is behind me. I guess that may mean us as a the world, may not have too many more big disasters before this happens. Or, it could just be personally, things may get much better for me, which would be nice. They also have said that some these vents will be "mind over matter," which I don't know if that means we as humans may all get supernatural powers or what. I'm really not sure, because they don't tell me everything. They say I have to use my personal discernment. They also said that "End Times" means the end of time as we know it. I really don't know if and when anything is going to happen for sure.

A lot of spiritual and metaphysical people on the net say that 2012 is the year, because astronomically what will happen then is our solar system will make a "galactic cross" with the equator of the Milky Way. Also theory are new studies coming out which say our solar system is not in the milky way but in another galaxy called "Sagittarius Dwarf." Some say in 2012, we will leave the Sagittarius Dwarf galaxy and enter the Milky Way. What they say on this site pretty much syncs up with what I have been told in my dreams, so far. This is a pretty thorough and amazingly big bunch of connected sites so I haven't really even began reading them all. I did read the Genesis 2 part, which is interesting. I think perhaps the days on the website may actually represent years, but I'm not sure. It would make sense if the whole deal is going down in 2012. I have also read some of the Cosmic Cube as they call it, but it is really, really in depth and sometimes difficult to understand. I think you may have to use personal discernment and parallel thinking to understand some of the stuff. I know one thing they have some great images on their site and some good meditating music. I also think that the Psi Viewer may be able to be used for projection, but I haven't tried. Whoever did these sites, did a great job in design, writing and everything.

I don't really know what to think about these groups of sites as a whole. A part of me keeps saying, it may be the real deal if there was a website for what may happen. But, I am just keeping an open mind for now, just like everything. Maybe one day, I'll have more time to sit down and read more of it.

It's funny, because if this all about ET's and UFO's. Know wonder that they would take the shape of Aliens in UFO's in some of my dreams. The other funny thing about the "alien dreams" is I can only see there face whenever I'm not looking directly at it. If I looked directly at it their faces seem to be in constant shape of change. Maybe this an ode to reports that say some Aliens are shape-changers.

Anyway, maybe later on I'll share some of the other cool details of my dreams. For now, I have to go eat some breakfast.

Yeah, it's is probably be an interesting ride, if it happens. Which if you ask me seems somewhat probable.

But it would make sense. My father, who is an ardent supporter of intelligent design and a pretty smart guy, says that he thinks that all mutations that have created all new species if animals mutation process was jump-started by bursts of "cosmic radiation," or "cosmic energy" as a part of God's plan.

Makes sense, we actually may be coming upon a bunch of cosmic radiation. And we may be getting our first dose of high cosmic energy by an increased solar maximum that will begin in Spring of next year and probably max in between 2010 and 2012. It is going to be the strongest max in 50 years. The last time it was this strong the aurora borealis was seen in my hometown of Baltimore. NASA has even set up a dual-station observatory (which is awesome), called the Stereo Observatory to study it and how the sun cycles look when in a real, strong max cycle. Here's the links:

The reason I bring up the solar max, because in my lucid dreams they said that it would be "impressive."

I think the gist of what may happen is that we get the ability do go between realms/dimensions freely, but I'm not sure. Sounds plausible to me knowing what I know now of metaphysics and astral projection. Some people say that going through this energy may cause our complete DNA structure to activate. I don't know what that would mean for us exactly, but it sounds good to me. That may give us the ability to be "mind over manner" beings. I really don't know exactly what or when anything is going to happen, but it sounds possible to me and goes with what I've been told. I am for now taking the wait and see approach and trying to keep an open mind about everything.

I really feel that theres something happening and really feel I should get into my spiritual side, it feels very important and something that will be part of my life now.

I do think Astral Projection has got something to do with 2012, to be able to project well your vibrational levels need to be higher, as you said you are in fear everythime you do it, I can say tho once you get over that and project you will be well on your way.

Its like a test I suppose, to see if your ready for the 'real' way of life.

It's just a thought. I am not say aliens would do this, but God would do this. I was suggesting that ET's may be actually spiritual entities or further evolved life forms. My dreams are just that dreams. I find them interesting, but on the other hand they could not be completely true. My spirit guides do like to teach a hard lesson once and while, I think. Just suppose that you could freely travel between planes, realms dimensions or whatever. People would still want to learn and live as humans. They would just have a greater understanding of the universe and what lies beyond because of this ability. I can't even comprehend how this would actually work, but it is an interesting thought. I am not promising anything or saying anything is really going to happen. To tell you the truth I have no idea if these events are going to take place or not. There is a good argument for a forthcoming change in 2012 on the internet, which I came across when researching things that I learned in my lucid dream states.

I began having these dreams on and off about a year ago, and I began to research philosophies, sciences and spiritual possibilities about what my dreams may be and what they may mean. Then I began to research the things that we discussed in those dreams. I have had some weird and sometimes somewhat psychic dreams in my lifetime, but these dreams were in depth like none other. My spirit guides helped me understand the world that we live much better than I knew it before. Of course, I had to do a lot of research in my spare time to find out real, hard info for myself. I still don't believe 100% that any of this stuff is actually going to happen. I just try to keep and open mind about everything and live my life as normally as possible.

I feel that any time is a good time to find your spiritual side, but I strive for a life in balance.

I hope I clarified things a bit. I am glad Vilius that you find the sites interesting. I have no idea about there authenticity/truthfulness or anything, but they are extremely in depth and quite funny sometimes. Whoever wrote them and created did a great job overall. I really would like to go through more of them, but I don't have the time currently.

I just recieved "ASTRAL DYNAMICS" by Robert Bruce from amazon today and am already about 100 pages into it. I already see that it is the best investment i've ever made. Well, it is a possibility that some people do AP, especially if they are Freemasons. I think many high-level Masons may do the Rosicrucian method of astral projection. That may be why they do not where metal into there lodges. I can find the diagram that I used to have, but one of their degrees is the "Rosy Cross." There is a lot of information on Freemasons on the internet about Masons and there "rituals." It is interesting to think about, because much of the leaders in the US are and have been Freemasons. So, it is possible that some in NASA do AP, but who knows for sure.

so i read a few of the previous posts and it sounds really interesting but i have some questions..... is it the soul that leaves the body? hwhat would the shapeof the "soul" ( what ever it is) be? could u change the shape(aperance) of the "soul"? can u get hurt(possible die) duing travel? can u physically or mentally move objects(open dors since i sleep with my door closed )? or could u go thru walls and other materials like a "ghost"?

Sleep paralysis is where u come out of REM sleep partially. You are paralized but able to look around. You are still dreaming but with your eyes open so you see things like a lsd or something. Nothing to it, just biology.

Think of it like being a ghost, you cant get hurt, you cant touch or interfere with anything or anyone in the physical, you can fly, you can go through objects and you can see other ghosts, spirits, angels and other beings however there are negative entities or daemons or whatever you call it but these cant hurt you because they only exist to hinder your spiritual development.. in other words they only try to scare you back to your body as fear will bring you back instantly. hope this answers some questions

Yeah i think you can change your appearance in there bit its like learning how to walk again and you can even look how do you look by thinking of being in 2 places at once or more! I'm pretty sure you change your appearance in physical too using biokinesis

Since i was a little kid that i have falling/sinking sensations when i'm in bed. The most frequent dreams that i have are the ones when i'm falling, and the sensation is just to real. When i have those dreams i just wake up and try to calm down because i get stressed out. But these 2 sensations are "weak" sensations. Recently i have had stronger sensations. I get a weird feeling on my arms and legs, i feel worn out, and then suddently i feel like i'm going to pass out. I get really freaked out about this and i have even screamed once. If i shake my arms or legs the sensation is gone. But i have these sensations several times when i'm in bed. Does this have anything to do with Astral Travel? I have read some topics and replies about the subject, and you all seem to do it at will. To me, it feels like im being forced on getting out of my body. I know someone who can talk with spirits and that person often helps my family with these kind of stuff. He said that my deceased grandmother and uncle were in my house protecting me and my mother. If this is the case, and it has been said that in the Astral Plane you can talk to spirits, are these sensations meant to get me out of my body so that my grandmother can talk to me? In other words, is my grandmother and/or uncle trying to get me out of my body so that they can talk to me? I would apreciate a serious reply to my post.

Everyone astral projects when they fall asleep but since you are not aware of what is happening you only see your dreams, but if you can make your body fall asleep with your mind awake you can consciously astral project, what im trying to say is that it might be that you are about to project when you feel those things and im not sure but i believe you can get help from other spirits from the astral plane, hope you understood that

Hmm but when i feel those things i freak out and this seems to be bad in those situations... but the thing is ... when i feel somethind odd i always think that i have some kind of disease or that i'm not healthy. I'm always dizzy and no one seems to know why =S. The doctors have tested me alot and discovered nothing, and my parents say it's a problem with my back since i spend most of my time sitting at the computer ( probably true ). Anyways, i'm ruled by insecurity so when i feel those feelings i think that i'm dying or something like that and it creeps me out =S. This is also why i'm afraid of doing Astral Travel... I'm afraid of screwing up when i'm actually out of my body and can't return or even die. This can be ridiculous and stupid but... err... so what i'm trying to find out is if this sensations are part of Astral Projection or if its just a physical condition that provokes the same sensations. not sure if anyone can answer me but i would apreciate it.

I just have a few questions,

Is it possible for everyone to AP or do we need a natural ability for it? Also, how do you know when you are really astrally projecting and its not just a dream? Furthermore, will your soul be in the spirit realm, meaning will you be able to see the dead/angels/demons?

nothing in the astral can kill you or hurt you and you can always get back im not sure if dizziness has something to do with AP but when you try to AP or when your about to AP you can feel stuff like vibrations, floating and sinking feelings, really high pulse, see lights and a bunch of other stuff but dont be afraid of it cause it cant hurt you in any way and its really happening because its just your chackras <-- i dunno how to spell chackra lol, anyway what i say is that whatever you feel when trying to project, ignore it because if you dont it will hinder you from AP i myself usually get distracted by the vibrations lately... not because its scary but because it feels really good, for me the vibrations feel like really strong fast pulse (almost feels like lightning)


Well yeah we all do it every night while we sleep we just need to be aware of what is happening you can check if your in the astral or the physical by trying to pull your finger (it will stretch in the astral) or take a small jump (you can fly in the astral) these are the best things to do if your unsure because the astral is just as real as this world and sometimes it can be hard to know if your really in the physical or the astral, also yeah technically we project into the 5th dimension witch is the astral plane witch is also known as the spirit world so yeah you can see angels, daemons and dead people there are different planes though but i dont know a whole lot about that.. i only was in my room when i did it.. anyway hope that answered some questions and remember daemons cant hurt u

oh and also you can easy know if your in the astral or a dream because if your in the astral you might think your awake thats how real it can feels

Your lucky for me its like im being torn out of myself it really feels weird .. haaaaphphpmmm ..... i get that dizziness felling too it comes with blackouts i dont know why this happens but it might be because i sit in the dark for 5+ hours every day and practice xyz-kinesis

i don't feel dizzy WHEN trying or starting to AP. I feel dizzy in my every-day life lol. It's a physical condition that i have. So i'm not sure that the blackouts and stuff that i feel when i'm about to sleep are sensations of AP or another physical condition related with the diziness. And this sensations, are they smooth or strong? because the blackouts and stuff are really strong, and recently i'm having more difficulty in getting myself out of it.

I dont know why the blackouts happen to me they are really strong i fell dizzy and everything darkens and they stop about 10 seconds later i dont know if this is related but i see better after every one of them and i mean permanently
