Questions for Astral Projectors: Why not visit Area 51/any government top secret area? Why not use your powers in a positive way to effect real change in society, such as finding missing children etc. Why not take the James Randi million dollar challenge?

Because it is an empty publicity stunt, and there is no possibility of perfecting a legal claim to the money under American law, regardless of the truth or falsehood of AP.

james randi is that confident in his debunking, that regardless of how astonished he may be about what just happened in front of his face,
he could write it off to some really obscure theory, and say it was due to this or that.
regardless he can make as many excuses as he wants to not give up his money.
and there is not a damn thing you could do to get it from him.

area 51 is actualy owned by the bell corporation.
during the development of the a bomb, the bell corporation built a particle accelorator under the lakebed. this is where the uranium was enriched.
so it has more history in being a "secret site" then just the whole ufo stuff. but the history of black opps aircraft and ufo sightings in this area are tied together for this reason.
bell rents the facility to macdoneld douglas and other aircraft manufacturers ( and wepons manufacturers ) for development of "new" technologies.

there are plenty of civilian people that work there, jenny flies in on a daily bassis ( jenny - unmarked 737's with a red strip that fly out of las vegas ) taking people to and from work, a school bus if you will.

there is so much you can look down on ( nuclear test range is kind of depressing ) bikini atol, the blast hole left there form the bomb is clearly visible.
as well as other sites that the russian government used as well. it has all left some nasty scars on the earth.

You'd think there would be records of such occurrences. I haven't actually looked at any criminal cases that have been solved psychically. There is a famous case of a missing child named Madeleine McCann. She is British and was abducted from Portugal. Isn't there anything that can be done?

As for you bashing JR, I think you should look at his website, and read the rules for entering the challenge. The are perfectly fair. You can also get the media involved to ensure you get your money. It would be a simple case of APing from one room to another, then telling the testers what is in that room without physically entering it. Don't say you don't need $1,000,000 either; while it might be true for you, there are plenty of charities that would love that money. What have you got to lose?

There is alot better uses of your time in the astral...Go tour the world, go see the diffrent astral planes...You can go travel the galexy, and go to other planets if you wish...If you get out, tell me, cause I need help getting pulled out lol...

Hey, first off, I want so say GREAT article. I tried it after I read it, and it went okay. I laid down still, and after a while, I felt something. I heard a swilring sound, like wind. While my eyes were closed, I saw white lights flickering from black to white. I got frightened and my breathing increased so I kind of woke up.
So I need a little help and advice. First, I need help on concentrating. Its hard for me to focus on being in another part of the room. Second, I need help with not getting frightened. It feels really creepy, and I know its normal, but I need help on that. If you can help before tonight, please answer.

Hey guys if anyone could help me that would be great. So I had a dream and for a few seconds I was fully aware I was dreaming. I remember my surroundings changed as soon as I realized I was in a dream and I could astral project, craziest thing that happened was once I had realized that my surroundings disappeared and everything around me was black with stars here and I was flying straight at lik 20 mph. It was quite amazing as I remember closing my eyes in the dream and saying "I'll make it to the astral plane this time" and it was getting brighter as if i just ascended into the skies but I don't remember anything that happened after that. I really thought I was going to make it out there this time but I kind of blanked out and forgot everything after that. Was I close to astral projecting and what could I have done at that moment to astral project? if my post is not detailed enough i'll make another post on it.

I've heard of this before though I never did it by accident or tried to do it, but now that there is such a clear guide I am going to try this.
And one question, what if I want to go back to my body, but I dont' know where it is?

Hello, this is my first time in a chat room so I feel like I am in a tiny white box LOL I have lived much of my life in my daydream time because as I now realize I am sensitive to others emotions and physical maladies. Much stronger these days but have a question about lucid dreaming. I've always loved dream time and used to plan out my dreams for fun and to work on things. I have rarely had a nightmare (unless ate too much) because I usually know I am dreaming. There are some strange things that I have noticed over time and not sure if maybe I have had lucid dreams or astral traveled. I have read that astral travel is bright and clear and not strange like a dream but the times that I felt that I have been in that "between" places and have flown it was usually murky and either people were trying to pull at my feet or else the "dream"deteriorated into something stupid so I'd dismiss it. Or as this morning I felt like I was wiggling out of my body like a butterfly but knew my sleeping body wasn't moving. So I thought, hey, maybe I will astral travel and I looked around. I saw my room just fine but then I decided that I will know if this is astral travel if I can fly around down in the parking lot that I was looking at below my window. Unfortunately I didn't know how to get through the glass and thought, "well this can't be astral travel if I can't even get through the bleepin' "real" world glass." I stopped to think that maybe I should just raise the window and maybe wouldn't be afraid to go through the screen. That's when I said, "Ok hold up, how in the world can this be astral travel if there are no guides and I am having such an stupid discussion with myself!?" So I told myself to wake up and I did and just groggily shook my head. What the heck is this in-between place?

All right, now I'm sure this sort of thing has been answered scores of times in the 195 pages of the thread, but it is very annoying to me, so I can't resist asking. I can't seem to manage AP. I've tried envisioning my body parts all rearranged, or that I was standing across the room from myself. I've tried it in the nude, in an empty room, or out in the woods, I've used binaural tracks, affirmations, everything I could think of, but it isn't working. What am I doing wrong?

It takes a lot of time and practice for someone to be able to astral project easily, some people have a natural talent and can do it easier then others and others have to keep practicing for years, it really depends on each person.

Like me i have bin doing this for over a year now but lately i have bin really lazy and kinda stoped doing it (im going to start practicing again though) but ive only done it 3 times and every time was really short like from 1-5 minutes, best advice is to not stop trying and you will be able to do it after a while.

I still havent done it...Like, at the begginning, when i had the real drive, I could get really close...I gout out once, but I didn't relize it and just sat in my room...But I've had really kool sensations, dreams, feelings, all the vibrations...Which in itself is cool...But now, I have a hard time focusing on it since It isn't what I am concerned about as much now...I might try again...I really wanna do it though...

I tried APing and it usually goes like this....
My body goes numb and so much vibration going on. I feel soooo much energy going on in around my body. And when I feel that my soul is leaving the body, it just does not. I have all the symptoms of getting to AP. I hears different sounds, feel that my body is floating, my third eye feels all activated, I see a really really bright light almost blinding my vision even though my eyes are closed, I even hear a popping sound, I feel that my body is getting heavy and I feel that I'm getting to AP
But I DONT...
CAN ANYBODY TELL ME WHATS GOING ON???

This is very interesting! I believe I go into this "floating" stage all most nightly, and have been for several years, but I've never tried to go further. I will tonite. One question, after doing this, does your physical body still get the restorative benefits of sleeping? Or will I wake up drained from "being out" all night? Also, what happens as I'm out travelling and my husband tries to wake me, or one of the kids needs me? Will I need to have an "out travelling " sign on my forehead or something? I only ask because I have a friend whose wife said that when he did this, she absolutely could not wake him up. He said he went all over the world, and I imagine that depending on the distance you venture, you cant just zap back into your body if you are summoned in the physical. Thanks for your insight.

Accoriding to Raistlin, who is a proffessional Astral Projector, the first time that you are out your body you should not stay for a long time. you have to get used to the feeling. it is true that when you AP it drains your energy when you come back. it is your choice when you can come back to your body. just think of wanting to come back to your body and you will come back.

Astral Projection is when you soul leaves your body. You are the only one who can will it out. The devil does not have anything to do with it.

Just through my beliefs(Christian) I dont think God(A.K.A. The Creator) would let us view heavan, less he wanted us to...I have visited parts in dreams, Kinda like lucvid dreams, cause I could think, but I couldnt control it...But, thats just my opinion...

i'm trying the rope technique but do you have to only use your upper body or your whole body?
like only using your hands or imagine your whole body going up the rope?

I believe the the whole body works better. Youre trying to astral project with your whole body right?

I used to do only hands, But I found if you imagine like your legs, giving you momentem, and helpin you up...Then it works better...

I've never tried astral projection, the closest thing to it I've tried is lucid dreaming, but it seems to me that if someone's soul leaves their body that it wouldn't lose the connection to the body even if you went really far. However, I think less advanced people may not be able to find their way back to their bodies.

Dude...that was awesome. Though I had quite a few variances from what I read which makes me wonder if it's not the reason why I pulled it off...

1) I did it before going to sleep, not waking up in the middle.
2) I had the TV on and my wife snoring through it. There was no point in projecting that it went completely silent like i thought there was supposed to be.
3) Instead of my head being the last anchor, my feet were.

Was funny when I broke free of the feet. I didn't quite remember the 'you now float' factor. Ended up jumping out of my body and across the room. Almost shocked myself back in, but kept control not to do so. Didn't really see any entities though. Was kinda disappointed on that. Was fun floating around the apartment and looking at my body...but man... I wanted someone to talk to


Took me quite a few months to finally pull it off. But man, was it worth it. I hope I can do it again soon!

Oh and when you astral project, if you want to talk to someone go the akashi records or travel. For goodness' sake dont just stay in your bedroom, travel somewhere else and I can guarantee you that you will talk to somebody..

If you're blind when you AP ninja say "Sight now!" or "clarity now" or "light now!" etc etc...

I've been trying to AP on and off for the last couple of months. I want to get heavy into meditation in general, I think that will help a lot.

I don't know quite how to explain how i did it. I was just laying in bed trying to go to sleep but I wasn't quite tired enough. I closed my eyes and the tingling sensations just came to me. Like the time was just perfect to do it. I started chanting the "I want to astral project" that Ziggy had said. Next thing I know I was looking at the tv with my astral eyes as my head started floating up. My whole astral body was straight as I pivoted up out of my real one.

I think the thing that might have helped me the most was months of trying to AP with roommates who were blaring music at all times of the day and night.

But still, it just felt like "This is the perfect time to do it" And sure enough I was out of my body in a matter of minutes.

Oh, yeah another note...when I closed my eyes and the tingling came... My hands were kinda hanging just above my chest. I didn't want to move them because I figured my body was comfortable enough like that to bring the tingling, so hey, leave it. While I was chanting I felt my hands spasming a little. Just ignore itches and twitches and you too can get out
