With films that just been recently released like Good Night, Good Luck, Capote, Syriana and senor spielbergos latest effort Munich. You think that people in Hollywood are actually starting to realise theirs a lot of mad sh** goin on in the world right now?

Hollywood lives inside their own little bubble. It isn't real...they aren't real...they have no concept of the 'real world'.

I'll presume that you mean Major Studios when you say Hollywood...

The Major Studios (Disney, Fox, Universal, et al...) are only concerned with profit, not content.

What does "real world" have to do with feature film? 99% of all feature films produced by the Major Studios are made for entertaining an audience, and not for political or social awareness.

right well now i'll basicaly presume no one has watched those films so they cant for one second appreciate the context of my post say comparative to the films released during the sixties then, such as easy rider. Just watch those films please.

Hollywood couldnt care less whats going on. Its all for profits. They find out what entertains an audience and make a film about it. Youre reading too much into it. Documentaries on the other hand would raise awareness to whats going on. Not Hollywood movies.

right look, i know well what Hollywood is all about, far gone is the time of marx brothers and the likes of kubrick, but the thing is im suprised their actually making these films. Regardless of the sickening greed that revolves around cinema, this is still a good thing, and an even better thing if anyone actually watches those films, becuase their good.

Hoolywood is as far from waking up as I am from Jupiter... Not only they are NOT waking up, but more and more they spend millions making movies with the only intetn to spread liberal propaganda with their version of "truth" and "good"... seriously do I care if the guys who killed the Israeli atlets had a family ? Do I ? Did anyone force them to do what they did ? No... so why would I care about this whinning version of truth... If I was aJew I would spit on Spielbergs face.

As to George Clooney's movies... LOL... another one with delusions of grandeur...probably paving the way to run for Governor " Terminator " style. Money speaks in Hollywood...not necessarilly truth.

In fact Ho- lyywood would be a better name .
