yesterday i heard Kwan was getting a special try out to make the Olympic team

which i thought was inapprotiate, i think she should have only had the same oppertunities of everyone else

then this morning i hear she made the team

this afternoon i see 2-liter Coke bottles with Kwan's picture on them in support of the Olympic team

seems to me Coke would be awful embarassed if she didnt make the team

since the bottles must have been printed long ago

just wonder if that weighed into her apparent special treatment with that extra audition ?

That's why they take alternates with them. Whoevers spot she took should be the first alternate and the one to take over if she can't compete.

She dropped out today. Just watched her interview. She hurt her groin yesterday in practice and her body isn't agreeing with her.

So her spot will go to another skater I would assume.

although i still think Kwan shouldnt even have gone
