When I have nothing to do sometimes I find myself going through the Nasa Pics from Mars trying to find my own "Face on Mars". Although I havent had much success here is one pic that might have some possibilities:

Here is a gallery of different pics of the same rock:

Are you seeing something that I'm not? I see a rock.
Anyway there are a lot of people who think that the Face on Mars is artificial because of the vague symmetry. But people say that some of the pictures are not clear enough to come up with a proper conclusion, other than it is a hill.

I must be. go here and click the x at the bottom of the pic and blow it up, naysayer. You didn't expect a perfect digital pic did you? Geez you just can't please some people no matter how hard you try.

You are calling me a naysayer because I see a fn rock? Don't make assumptions, rota. hmm.gif
I still see a fn rock btw.
edit: That jpeg you showed me has no x at the bottom. Perhaps you meant to show me a link there.

You must have bad eyesight then. Better have that checked out.

The orange x doesn't appear immediately. Move your mouse around the right hand bottom of the pic and it will appear, although the face is perfectly visable without blowing it up at least for those who don't need their eyes examined.

Actually my eyesight is very good. No glasses needed. I think you are experiencing pareidolia. yes.gif
Why don't you make it easier for everyone and tell us what you see. An orange x should not appear on a jpeg.

I am sure I could find bugs bunny on some of those rocks. It doesn't mean anything.

Yes it does, it would mean you would be a bona-fide loonatic.

Then you must be a loonatic for seeing the face you saw. w00t.gif

Yep. Pareidolia.

Why is that? I never saw a bugs bunny face on a damn rock.
Tear's of Rea
Didnt they prove there is no such thing as a face on mars its just the trick of the camera hmm.gif i dont no but i dont think it is anything really
Stalker
The face is really nothing. And if it ever was anything, its eroded beyond recognition.

HOWEVER, it does seem quite odd that a mountain would have such a perfect shield-shape.
et's daddy
im still not convinced the original 'Face on Mars' isnt something 'man made'

Mekorig

You seek to find your own "face on Mars". Thus, it becomes self-fulfilling.
A face? Any irregular, naturally formed object can look like a hundred things to a hundred people...including a face.

People see images in clouds all the time. Miracle? No. A Face? Of course not...it is simply associating a random pattern of angles and lines and shadows with something already established in your "data-base"-- your memory. A face. That's easy enough. It's not a face, of course, but it's easy to associate the image (sometimes...but not in this case, at least to most of us) with one.

There's just an obscure, insignificant rock on the surface of a planet in that picture.

I am beginning to think you like the comments your posts elicit. That thread regarding the moon not being here before the "big flood", for instance....and now this one, where you're actually being called a loonatic.

Either you really like this, or you need to find something else to do with your time than look for faces on rocks....
