as i was sitting here listening to music, i began to wonder what the lyrics of the song meant. now, there are many different possible interpretations of songs, and i tend to be pretty good at figuring them out, but there are a few that i completely fail to understand. i can never find any interpretations online, either... at least, no decent ones. so, in light of this, i have decided to start a topic in which people can post the lyrics to songs that they don't understand, and have others interpret them in whatever way they feel is best. it might prove to be very insightful. i'll start out...

I think it is about having a lesbian relationship. I'm not sure why I think that...maybe from a video I saw of two girls kissing.......

It could be about a myriad of mistakes, but I'm tending toward some girl getting pregnant. My guess is they had 30 mins of lovin', the girl got pregnant, and is now trying to decide if she should stay with the guy, run away from home, tell someone, whether she should keep the kid. The whole train derailing/options changing thing is perhaps the new direction her life is going to be forced to take now that there is a kid involved. There is the whole shame thing, apologizing to her parents for her/their mistake...

The interpretation of the song isn't just from lyrics, the music itself helps set the scene.
Also the listeners own perspective has an impact.

I agree, girl got pregnant with some guy she hardly knew.
As for the her decision, I think she's got an appointment for an abortion.

I'm going to go along with Purplos & Unforgiven's interpretation . . an unplanned/unexpected pregnancy.

I'm still trying to figure out "IMN" from Mudvayne- it sounds like it would involve just one persons feelings, but has a mixture of so many people he addresses that made him feel that way. It sounds like he's talking about a dozen or so people still.
I can't post the lyrics yet, but I'll find a way to get the swears out. & edit it. Unless someone else can get it first... It's very interesting- it's rock bottom for lyrics...
