I read the book and enjoyed it alot. I was never quite sure of God's existence and the way he presents the Creator's (existence) was re-assuring. It provided a new look at what I've always fought against. I especially liked the character Palmer Joss original.gif

I was never good at mathmatics and I will never look at pi the same way.

Just interested to if anyone else read the book and what they thought..

Didn't they make a movie of that????

Yes, with Jodie Foster.

I loved that movie; "Contact". It provided a wonderful compartmentalization of everything Sagan had to communicate in his book. If one did not read Sagan or the actual book it was based upon ( "Contact" ), that movie certainly inspired one to do so.
