I'm not new to the boards, I just keep forgetting my handle and password. I PROMISE I won't forget this one. I wrote it down in a safe place (I just hope I don't forget where I put it).

Anyhow, I am clairvoyant, -sentient, -audient; have been since I was a kid. I'm almost 32. Lately I've blown the dust off my old pendulum just out of boredom and the thing swings out of control now.

I don't use pendulums for divining (they are often inaccurate for me), but I do enjoy just playing around with them. As with everyone who uses them, I've often got "yes" and "no" swings from them, clockwise and counter swings but recently.....

When I pick up my pendulum now it will swing yes, then no, then counterclockwise and then it will begin to SPIN like a helicopter blade to the point it PULLS ON MY HAND and I have to fight with the chain/string to keep it from flying across the room.

The force on it is so intense I weirds me out a little bit. I don't get anything from my spirit guides as to what's causing it - I guess mum's the word for them. But I'm curious if anyone else has experienced the "helicopter blade" effect with their pendulum.

The pendulum will helicopter blade as I hold it in it's normal position, but it picks up so much momentum as it rotates vertically, I can move my hand and it'll keep up its momentum as it rotates horizontally like a pinwheel. Then it'll continue to swing as I move it to an over-hand position and it looks like a helicopter blade!

I've shown all my friends and no one can explain it - probably because none of THEM use pendulums even though they all work with psychic energy in one form or another.

But surely someone on this board does. Please help.

Oh, and one more thing - I was curious as to if pendulum use is associated with Tk. If so, why is it swings when you hold it and just sits dormant if you put it down, say like on a table?

Is it your body's enegry fueling the pendulum through contact?

My brain is pickled. Input is greatly appreciated!

Fascinating experience you're having there. Personally, I'd still be standing there with an; "Oh flippin WOW that's so cool!" look on my face, had this happened to me.

However it sounds to me like you are not experiencing Telekinesis in so much as what is termed; Psychokinesis communications.

Perhaps the Telekinetic powers you possess, (and it sounds like you do), are being channeled into the pendulum, as evidence of the ability you possess. And the "helicopter blade" like projection of the pendulum and it's pulling from your hand, is an indicator your powers have evolved beyond the present or immediate channeling via/ a device, like a Pendulum divination, unto a broader field of influence, i.e. Psychokinesis.

Well at first it was "woah, way cool." But then I said, "waaaait a minute."

Someone just PMed me about "clearing my mind to control the object." When I tell the pendulum to stop, it drops like a hook & sinker. If I tell it to calm down, it'll swing lazily. But since my relationship with my pendulum has been taken to a whole new level I'm just amazed that even if it doesn't give me a right answer, it'll do whatever I tell it almost like it just wants to play. In fact, I've asked it, "Do you want to play today?" And it'll swing yes almost like a panting dog. It's cute, but weird.

And if I want it to pick up speed really fast, I say, "Show me your light," and that's when it's hard to control.

Part of me wants to think the pendulum is "spreading its wings" after having been locked in a dusty box for a year, but it's been since November since this has been happening and I've NO clue what it means.

[color=#3366FF]I have a pendulum too. When it says, yes, then no and goes crazy, I talk to it. (No, I'm not crazy) You tell, it " Your my pendulum and you answer my questions." Then you can if you want, just take an eye dropper and put pure water on it, then dry it off with a soft towel that will not scrach it. You can also try to put it in a windowsill and stick it in a place where there is a lot of sunlight and that might help. Keep us posted on if it works.[font=Century Gothic]

Wow. I've always wanted a pedulum, just so see if it'll be fun to do... Is there a specific type you have to get, or can it be any old thing? I wanna see if I can broaden my powers...

As far as I know, you can use anything as a pendulum, a charm on a necklace (that's how I got started) or anything light tied to a string. I started out with my necklaces, then I moved to a heavier brass pendulum, then a lighter amethyst pendulum. Someone gave me a bloodstone charm and I've tied that to a string and used it as well.

My best "helicopter" results are with the brass pendulum. It seems that it uses its weight to its advantage.

It's fun, give it a try.

I find the pendulam a bit like a ouija.

When using one you're calling in spirits to answer you. It's just another tool which is why you'll find it'll give you incorrect answers and want to play. It could be anything making the pendulam swing.

Sounds like a 'Kodak Moment' if you know what I mean.
