1. Sean Connery (the original and best)
Obviously. He was too old in DAF, and even more so in the unofficial Never Say Never Again.

2. Roger Moore (featured in the majority of movies, but had a lot of rubbish ones)
You can say that again. I still feel that LALD and FYEO were his best. MR and AVTAK the worst.

3. Pierce Brosnan (3 good movies, 1 god awful one)
I liked TWINE best of his, with GE at a close second. DAD was bad becasue of overuse of special effects, plot with too many twists, and Halle Berry.

4. Timothy Dalton (Living Dayslights was great, but with only 2 movies he's behind the others)
LD is really good (John Rys-Davies!!), LTK was nice but not as good.

5. George Lazenby (The forgotten Bond, Her Majesty's Secret Service was RUBBISH movie, but I can't help but feel we might have regarded him in higher light if he'd been in a few more and hadn't been the unfortunately one who had to try an take over from Connery.
OHMSS is a good movie, but people would have thought it was great if it had had Connery in it. *Also didn't help that they got the "Spectre Trilogy" out of order. Moviegoers had gotten used to Connery, and in most peoples' minds he was Bond. I feel that Moore wouldn't have gone over so well if Lezenby hadn't taken some of the heat first.

Daniel Craig... well he's yet to star in a single movie, so nobody can say anything about him yet.
He looks the part in my eyes, despite the dirty blond hair. I hope CR has more fist-fights and less death-rays than previous movies.
*The Spectre, or Blofeld Trilogy went: Thunderball, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, and You Only Live Twice. In the movies TB came first, then YOLT, and then OHMSS.
In the novels, Bond meets Blofeld for the first time in OHMSS under an alias. In the movie he does this also, but it is strange that Blofeld doesn't recognize him from the Volcano in YOLT. This is why I hate it when they mess with the order of the movies.
