this event actually took place about 2 months ago.i was up pretty late that night,playing a new game i just bought for hours.i noticed it was around 3-3.30 am when i had a stomach upset.it's not too terrible but it still hurts so off i go to the toilet.

i rushed to the nearest toilet to my bedroom,and it was really quiet outside at the moment (the toilet happened to be just next to the backlane of my home).i turned on the lights and rushed in because it was comin out soon.but as soon as my light went on (it's a flourescent type,takes some time to come around) and my pants were already down, i heard this very very very very loud howl coming just outside the toilet (my backlane).i really got the shock of my life at that moment and everything just went up again!!

i went stiffed for a moment but got out of my toilet after that to check it out,there was complete silence again,just eerie.i went straight back to my bedroom and took out my talisman,just in case.....and gave a little thought about it.

actually it was more to a screeching scream than a howl.i barely could get to sleep that night and told my family about it the next morning.both my parents said it was just a cat on the roof and must have been ashocked too at that time,resulting in it to purr loudly.i still couldn't agree because it was too loud and sounded very....demonic or something....but i had my bro to thank for listening and not quickly ridiculing me like my parents.however we had no idea about it.

it's been two months i haven't had an idea bout this,so i thought of letting you people know and maybe come with some solution or ideas in this.howl or scream,it definitely shooked the heck out of my guts that time.

i don't really wanna say this nonsense but....i have a room just beside my toilet and it has been vacant for quite some time......argh,i think it's just nonsense but well,pls do give me your comments on this,thank u

Foxes are known to make terrifying screaming noises like human beings and are annoying, just one possible explanation.

thanks for the reply blood angel,but there are no known foxes that are living anywhere near my hometown,though we have some jungle at the mountains nearby here but it's really small and no other wild animals were reported here,except insects or other reptiles but sorry no foxes or wolves or any other animals...

besides that,i am very sure it wasn't a wolf or any other known animal howl when i heard that sound.it's rather difficult to explain but it's just very wierd.....

Okay...honestly, I don't think I'd worry about this too much. Almost every variety of animal you can think of makes a noise of some sort when threatened or disturbed. If you live near a jungle, then that leaves a very long list of possible cullprits.

If I were you, I'd worry about the roars, not the shrieks Don't let it bother you, more likely just some local creature you didn't recognise, that was surprised by the light going on; not every howl in the night can be a crypid.

Coyotes, feral dogs and foxes don't necessarily have to live in a woodland environment. With human encroachment into their habitats they start hunting for food in the garbage cans of homes.

I've never had any whailing or howling experiences. Heard some real life growling a couple times while hiking after dark trail packing out of the Adirondacks, but never anything I'd consider Banshee related.

Two of the biggest scares in my life were caused by a wild boar and an owl. If i hadn't seen them, i would had said it was the devil or some demoniac incarnation!

Sounds like it could be a dying rabbit. The noise they make is almost as bad as a panther screaming.

Well, I really don't know much about Malaysia. I just figured that there might be some wild rabbits. Owls would be another guess, as someone else mentioned. If there is an owl outside your window it means that something bad is gonna happen..........probably.

The scream of a dying rabbit?! Learning every day! Never knew rabbits made horrible noises when dying, i only hear a pig and it wasn't beutiful, oh no...

ive owned a couple of rabbits before and they have always been kept outside my bedroom window (my bedroom is on the bottom floor) i myself have never heard them make a noise like howling or screeching before.

maybe the howl you heard could of come from some cats fighting!

Engulf you are worring to much.......I have experinced the same sort of thing two years before, guess what the thing that can make that kind of horrible sound is ..........HOWL..They always come out night.....sit on the roof and make that stupiddddddd noise...grrrrrrrrr I hate them when they do that sort of sound....Probaly when u enter the toilet the howl mybe siting beside the window and when u switch on light...BOOM...U heard the sound....
