I learned of the Yonaguni sight in Japan through a special on TLC and have since been intrigued by it and the possibility of a cultural connection between it and the ancient Peruvian site at Machu Picchu as well as many others including the temple of the sun (I believe that is the correct name). When I saw images of Yonaguni I was struck by how similiar their aesthetics seem to be. I was wondering if anyone knew of a systematic comparison between Peruvian ruins and Yonagunis architecture and design.
