Awareness Times has been authoritatively informed at a usual police weekly press briefing that a fierce looking baboon which has been terrorizing some parts of Pujehun has been killed in a joint operation of the police and youths in the township, on 29th January 2006. It could be noted that a few weeks ago, there were reports that a mysterious baboon was causing havoc in the Kpanga Kabonde chiefdom in the Pujehun district. According to police sources, the mysterious animal was notorious for terrorizing women and children, thus making the entire population to live in perpetual fear. Accordingly, the strange beast attacked and inflicted serious bodily harm on a number of people, some of whom taken for emergency treatment.

The killing of the said animal came as welcomed news to the entire inhabitants of the chiefdom.Amidst jubilation, some of the inhabitants expressed the view that they can now sleep in peace as their tormentor had been killed.Some even had the view that the animal was not ordinary.It could be noted that only three months ago, a similar strange animal was reported to have been killed in the Koinadugu district, after killing a number of people and cows.

Holy crap killing cows and humans??? How killer strong are these baboons anyways?? And awesome pic man, looks alot like a horror monster

Baboons are carnivurous, very strong and violents, they can kill lions and other strong animals, i dont understand whats so strange about those incidents.

Man, thats one freaky animal .... i wonder why they cant capture that thing and study it or something, if it is so weird, at least it might gives us some clue or information about it....

There's always been something creepy about baboons, at least, to me. maybe it's that they are fairly violent and seem crazy and unpredictable to me. maybe it's the fact that we're primates like baboons, and we could potentially be that violent and unpredictable. weird to think about

You're right, after some research i found they arent carnivorous but omnivorous and they cant kill lions but they are strong enough to kill a man. Its usual to see bands of baboons raiding human dwellings, thats why i dont understand whats so strange about this baboon, hes just acting like the other baboons. Strange beast? Whats so strange about this baboon?

anyone ever seen that "horror" movie about a crazy baboon killing people in some kind of house or building...pretty damn funny actually....I think its called Shakma. Gave me a pretty good laugh after returning from the club one night.

I think I saw that movie long ago. Some scientists were experimenting on the baboon, making it smarter or something like that. It got loose and rampaged around in the building, killing some people. It looked incredibly fierce.
