I have just been checking out this website sylvanic.com. These guys claim to have found a spot that they have seen Bigfoot several times. They have a video in the secession of their website called 2005 expedition chronicle, called video 2. You have to watch it a few times and brighten up your screen but its pretty good. They claim to be looking for a tranquilezer gun expert to go back and capture a Bigfoot to prove it exists!

so ive been reading about this guy todd (well what he has been writting)... does anyone know where else i can maybe find some goods on him and his gig??? this is the most exciting thing to know that we may be able to proove bigfoot is real!!!

I checked out that site and that video footage looks great. I hope this dude gets his sh** together and gets a docu out. That would be sweeet to see.

So I went to this site you peoples are talkin about-it's crazy! I want to know more about this place, and the guy from the website sounds for real-I mean he's claiming to have found a creature people have been after forever-BUT he's also looking for people with the right skills to assist him. I'm gonna do some looking around for more info, if anyone knows anymore about it all post it!

the story sounds pretty interesting, the website has some good stuff. and they came across a strong foul odor along the way, like these creatures (bigfoot, yeti, skunk ape..etc) are said to have. but the Video1 seemed kinda fake, because anyone could have easily put those sounds in. but it was still creepy though. this story also reminds me of the Wendigo (different spellings) and the native people.

the sounds could have been added but what about the footage u have to admitt its pretty gooood.

I think the first video is pretty creepy, but the video 2 is pretty crazy. I've watched it like 20 times and it's fast but i can't think of what animal moves like that. I'm interested what the hair samples will come back as? I mean that's science right? I don't know a ton of people that argue with science!

i just finished going through the entire web site and I am totally amazed. I really want to go up there and investigate. Even the "normal" things there like bison I find amazing. I hope that sometime soon I will be able to travel there.

I emailed Todd from the Sylvanic site to find out where the location is (i live very close to the mountains) and he isnt in a postion to release the location. unless u know how to shoot a trank gun... lol... I wanna see the main video!!...C.

yeah i read all 11 pages of the other post and its FAKE! Sorry to burst bubbles here but if you read the other topic about it you will understand. Things like "his friend gave him a map BUT they needed a guide and he said he didnt have a map and its unexplored! if its unexplored how he get a map????" well just read the other post i wish this could be real who knows maybe it still is real but im on the other side of the line as of now.

I have to agree that it seems fake. It had an interesting story.. but the video evidence is just too... hoaky.

Video 1... no matter how many times I replayed it over and over and paid extra attention at 38 seconds I couldn't see any figure. The "growl" is laughable as was the female's dialog.

Video 2... all four seconds of it. Great. In Video 2 that could EASILY be a bear, or (more likely) someone in a costume. I don't get it.. if he spent so much time out there how come all we have is a 58 second video in Video 1, and a 4 second clip in Video 2?? Why are there no pictures of the supposed cave?

Kept me entertained for a bit, but it's just not believable.

because its most likely a hoax, though i will say, that just because i place in unexplored, does not mean that there is no map, you can get topo maps of any where.
i would say that in the short video it is a bear, it looks just like one. The noticable lack of photographs and longer clips of video suggest hoax, i would like to see more video and pictures.

i think he claims to have a third video, but he hasn't released it yet.

i think that he has a longer version of the video (video 3) it may not be wise to show it to the public yet (maybe that is why we only get a short one of the goods and a long one of the goofy chick, after all its not like she was present for the other trips). really if u think about it he would be silly to release the good one on here when u hear of the kind of money the guys like Manitoba Bigfoot get (at least he can explain his storey)... about the map thing and i think he means that there is no map u can buy at the store but maybe he got one from the natives or something? Its been awhile since ive read that one.... k sooooooo i just want to believe!!! really any bigfoot footage could be a bear or man in a suit, is there anyone out there that can legitimately analyze the footage and say how tall he might be or see if a bear can or cant run that way? the difference is he is looking for help and it will be killer to see what happens next!

Sure it's possible he could be telling the truth. But to just blindly believe this story would be foolish... you have to approach all these cases with some skepticism, but also with an open mind. I honestly think more than 90% of all alleged paranormal cases are either fake or more psychological than paranormal... people thinkin they saw somethin in the corner of their eye.. mistaking somethin for somethin else, etc..

I hope he does release more videos, and I'd hope they were a bit more convincing than the first two.

I'd like to say I'm both a skeptic and believer.. but I think my 'believer' side comes out more!

I am leaning towards this being a hoax. I don't understand why, if it's true and the video footage is real, in video number 2, why does the camera turn away from 'bigfoot' once it bobs down in the bushes, wouldn't you leave the camera on that exact spot and wait and see if it stands back up again? You wouldn't turn the camera away like this guy does!!

In Video 1, all I saw was some trees shake off the snow.... Could be any number of reasons for that, any animal could have brushed past the tree or branches, or his mate could have been standing at the base shaking the tree?!

I really don't hink there is enough evidence there to take it seriousily... but ya never know, I guess!!

I read through most of UM and all BF stuff to be honest I never believed in Sylvanic back when I went to his website on that large bigfoot thread one problem I have is with his odd approach have the time he talks about it like supernatural creature the other half a flesh and blood animal now. Also when I read the thread from BF and UM and they had the exact same post that made me think two things one he is a conman and two not a very good one. Mostly not a very good conman because if he had bothered to ghost the BF at all he would have realized his story wouldn't be well recieved. Also another good point brought on the BF thread was that his story about the Andrew in order for story to happen as told Bigfoot would have had to run for 3 hrs over rough Mountains and forest terrain averaging 20mph and would have been caring person who would have been dead wieght sounds pretty impossible.

I was extremely skeptical about the Sylvanic site but I have to admit, the new video (titled video 2) on the site is much more realistic than any bigfoot videos that I have seen personally for years. It's really too bad that the video on the website is in 320x240 resolution - you can see a lot more detail in the vidcap on the site which is 640x480. The creature in the vidcap has the bulk and movement characteristic of a large ape. I played around with the vidcap a bit and altered the color saturation, contrast, etc. and there's a faint trail of red color which winds upward in the left portion of the image. It looks like some small red-colored rocks were carried down by wind and rain between some of the larger boulders. The weird thing is that the same shade of red also shows up on the top of the creature's back, left shoulder and down the arm just past the elbow. I couldn't see this until I had tweaked the image. I don't think it is blood, because if it was, it would have to be quarts worth to cover all those rocks, so if it is real and not just an artifact from the video, I would guess that the creature picked it up from the rocks.

Is there a 640x480 version available for download? I have the small video 2 and dead set, no matter how many times I watch it I cannot see a thing on it. The first video is only moving trees. What does this monster look like?
Failing that, has anyone got an enhanced version to put up so that I can see what we are talking about?

Telly I have spent some time over there and mean and rude really isn't the way I would see them as being they have a very low tolerance for hoaxers and people who believe bigfoot has mystical powers is all. If you have any intention of raising the theory that Bigfoot has supernatural powers or trying a hoax I would strongly suggest you stay away from them.

I have no intention of even going over there... it was just that some of their coments wernt even intelegent and like u/someone said that 90% of the stuff that comes out here or anywhere else is fake or could have been seen from the corner of thier eyes. i just wouldnd enjoy conversing with there as i have here (no biggy really)... but i will be thinking about it next to the camp fires and while hiking/paddling in the mountians this summer especially in the Kootneys, beats the guy with a hook for a hand...
