I red somewhere saying after all these upcoming events and his second coming he'll set up an Era of Peace for 1000 years. And all who died or was evil during the 2006-2012 Era will spend the next 1000 years or eternity in hell. (Well don't know about that part). But my question is to you guys is: What will the Era of Peace that Jesus makes have in store for us?
Will there be governments in each country? Will the world be ran only by Lord Jesus? Will he build the Millennial Temple of Ezkiel 40? I also want to know what advances well make in technology and in the medical field. And means of transportation. This is just a question where you can answer it using your imagination. Theres no right or wrong answer. I just want your take. Some additional questions: Do you think this won't happen will just have to wait and see? And do you think after 2012 us humans won't live on Earth anymore, Jesus will take us into heaven and will live there for eternity? Or remain on Earth with peace?

Well, according to what I know, it will be ruled by Jesus and his "army". The 144,000 who were chosen to make it into heaven will help rule over this new kingdom. And as far as I know either EVERYONE or almost everyone, will have a SECOND chance at eternal life. They will then KNOW that God exists, and if they STILL turn away from him, they will be destroyed and spend eternity in hell. Note that hell is NOT a place where they will burn and suffer, they will only be NON-EXISTANT. Also, we will live on Earth. Earth will be paradise. Only the 144,000 will enter heaven. "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in heaven". Think of this though, it's pretty obvious, what was Adam and Eve's purpose? To leave in peace forever... and where? ON EARTH. As for when it will happen, no one knows.

a question? why only 1000 years? this kindom has an expiration date or something like that? "this kingdom of peace will only last 1000 years, do not consume after that date"

I think it will probably be a post apocalyptic place. With the other races and everyone lives in tribes. People sitting on tanks while sharpening their sword.

After that 1,000 years, those who still turned away from God will be done away with forever. And after that, the righteous live for eternity in a peaceful paradise.

God can't promise peace when he's asked for wars

We will have to prove ourselves in the gods eyes the way your ancestors knew.

I feel pretty confident in saying that 2006-2012 (and forward) timeframe will be very much like the time before it, perhaps with more "reality" shows, but very much the same.

Every generation for the past 2000 years has believed themselves to be the ones to see jesus rise again, and somehow people keep falling for it; it is amazing to see from an outsiders point of view. I guess that is the only way that the church can keep such a tight hold on people...it is akin to: "Hey, act busy, the boss is coming..."

Every generation has been stood up like a bad prom date; this one will be no different.

why the hell should it be peaceful anyway, it never has before. I would hate living forever it is in eternal peace. True peace is a concept that will never be achieved and I don't think it should
