I have been fighting the battle of the buldge...

I had gained about 10 lbs. in the last year.. and my new year's resolution was to join the gym and lose some girth.... tongue.gif

I took a chance this morning.... and tried on my "goal jeans"... and guess what??.. They fit... still a little snug... but not constricting!!!

I am so elated.. and can't wait to hit the gym later this evening!!!

Anyone else on UM stuck to their New Year's resolution and have gotten good resutls???

Oh.. I am still too chicken to step on a scale... I plan to weigh myself at the end of February... I hope to have shed at least the 10 lbs. I had gained... and then proceed to lose about 10 more... thumbsup.gif

Don't go by a number on a scale.
Rather go by what you are comfortable with.

Alright Nxt!!!! bounce.gif

I've lost 7 lbs. of my 12 lbs. goal. original.gif

The other New Years resolution is to have our guest house ready for guests by May 1st. It's behind schedule, but still pretty much on track which is why I've lost the 7 lbs. grin2.gif

Irish is a better man that I to have quit smoking. Maybe that will be next years for me.

Congrats Irish!!! thumbup.gif

disgust.gif You suck...oops, Nadal...I mean...

Kidding, I was too skinny for a long time too and then all of a sudden I ballooned. For about a year I felt like a cow because I gained that little bit of weight. Take advantage of it while you can, it sneaks up on you as you get older. grin2.gif

Until I was 25, I weighed 165.
At 44 I have now been as high as 230, but now down to 200. I'm 6'1"

Well, 200 is a healthy weight at the heigth of 6'1". But, 165 is underweight actually for 6'1" I feel real fat compared to you tongue.gif

My waist circumference used to be the same as my 11-year-old sister's..... It was during a week when I was really sick and couldn't eat.

I'm still attempting to put on weight now. O_O
