Hello everybody.

This is the first time i am writing....there is something going on and im freaked out.

Well i always have belived in the paranormal,actually i have had a few experiences myself
but i always have been scared of the unknown.Anyway...
I saw the Emily rose movie a couple of days ago at home and im really freaking out....
I dont want to sleep alone and i think that there is something in my room at night....
Last night i was playing cards with my boyfriend and had dealt 9 cards instead of 8.So we put 1 card back in the deck and then we had 7 cards in our hands....We did not miscount...I think that something is happening.
Also my printer started working but there was nobody exept me in the house and was lying in my bed when i heard the noise.
I am not realy beliver in the stuff the church says(i live in a orthodox country)but i have heard that people that ar NOT baptized are more at risk for bad things to heppen to(caused by spirits)And i am not baptized...
How can i tell if things are really happening in my house and to me?i feel that after seeing that movie something has changed....
Maybe because i am thinking about it?
Am dreading going home tonight....
And yes if you are wondering some strange things happened months ago...Like this pigeon came flying in my room and just sat on the floor looking at me...it just would not leave...it went on bed and sat right on my pillow...and pigeons DO NOT come in the house and they are scared of people...
many times i just feel SCARED and cold in my room and try to fall asleep.With no reason...
I m just scared that this will come to something else...

first of all, i have a tendency to think that you're making a big deal out of nothing. more than likely, it was just your imagination playing tricks on you after being scared by the movie. nothing can change because of a movie.

the thing about not being baptized is crap as well- merely a scare tactic of the church.

most of those can be explained as just strange experiences. the pigeon thing- the pigeon could have been sick or could have been someone's pet that escaped. you never know. i wouldn't make much of it and just try to forget all of it. if you are looking for creepy coincidences, you'll find them, but that doesn't mean that they necessarily mean anything.

I'd blame your imagination, based on this alone.



This happens to me all the time. I know you said you didn't miscount, but it's quite possible that it happened without you noticing.

Could you elaborate on the printer? Did it start printing something off on it's own?



It's normal to be a little off after watching any movie that gets to you. I was pretty relieved when, seven days after seeing The Ring, no one came popping out of my TV to kill me.



Birds are weird. Some are pretty gutsy when it comes to interacting with humans, especially if they've grown accustomed to being feed scraps.

I've had birds fly into my house before, it's nothing unusual.



Don't be. It sounds like you're feeling spooked after seeing a creepy movie (saw that film a while back, it was disturbing) and still working through the after-effects. It'll pass once the memories aren't so fresh.

Well the printer is in the lounge and my dad is away on buisness so i was alone..i heard it making a noise as if it was printing something.A got a shock maybe my dad came home??He only uses the printer(even if it is mine!!!)But i was alone and the machine was like trying to print but nothing was happening.It was just making the horrible noise.
Probably it is just me freaking out because of the movie...

Jasper. its ok. You would do well to see someone about your fears. I have the same fears that you do, but my meds make them tolerable.

The only thing that seems odd to me is the coldness and the pigeon. The rest seems like your imagination.

I agree, that movie was pretty freaky, though, The Exorcist was even better!

They say that by listening to tapes of exocisms, you can get possessed by the spirits in the tapes...I don't know if I'd believe that, but just a thought

It's not uncommon to be freaked out after watching a scary movie, so I doubt theres any paranormal activity going on.

i heard somewhere that if youre scared enough, you can create a poltergeist in ur mind that will exist in ur mind due to fear..or something...could be BS
