So the movie finally has a subtitle, which is kinda meh at most, and a whole new load of pictures came to my attention today, which i though i'd share. There's alot of things that i'm really not happy with i have to say. Alot it looks just, well, i certainly would have thought they'd done them differently. Like, Juggernaut for example.
Anyway, take a look.




Colossus. He definately looked better in X2.


Beast is looking awesome.


Don't even get me started on Storms hair.


Colossus and Rogue. Notice, maybe it's just the angle and shot, but it certainly looks like Rogues head is on Colossus' shoulder.

Yeah, that's Vinnie Jones as Juggernaut. Naff, he's not even close to massive enough. I'm sure he looks better with the helmet on though. That's also the Morlocks and Collisto.

I'm pretty sure that's Psylocke on the right. Yay yay yay! *giggles* Don't ask about the one that looks like Michael Jackson.

Collosus looks meh...but I supose it's the best they could do without having him, totally CGI...although, he will probably look alot better during the action sequences.

His metal looked freaking awesome in the last movie, just that part with him is one of my favourite bits. However apparently the reason it only happened for that one small part was because the CG cost literally millions to make that short scene.
So i guess they opted for this route to make it cheaper.

And Wolverine getting some actions! Kickbutt!

Colossus was only briefly in the second movie during the break-in at the school. One of the intruders shoots him and his body turns metal, then he picks up one of the unconcious kids. He smashes the wall to open the secret exit, then offers to help Wolverine who tells Colossus to help the kids instead.

I don't know about Iceman, but 'm fairly certain Pyro is a big character in it, one of Magnetos henchmen.

I have to say, these, are pretty awful.
Why are they all posing like depressed models?

I don't know. I've actually heard that Vinnie Jones has signed on for X-Men 4 and 5!

The company making the movies is capitalist. Thus they will continue make movies so long as they make a profit. And likely once the movies begin to sink we likely have made for tv movies etc

I'm actually a little suprised there's no TV show yet. I suppose they're waiting until, as you said, the movies stop drawing such masive attention.

They did make a series called Mutant X, which was sooooooo ripping X-men off..... and sooooo bad

I never didn't watch that much either to be fair, I saw bits here and there while channel surfing. Just the acting and plot were just to bad to say hooked.

The first season was the best... after that it went down the drain in ridiculous scemes.

I loved X2, but so many of the pis I have seen surface on line look like a very slap-dash, thrown together, crappy job. And ALL the pics I have seen with Juggs (especially with his neo-punk Mad Max posse of young models) are horrid. It looks like Fox is just rushing to get this thing released before the proper care is taken.

The worst thing I have heard from semi-reliable sources about this (aside from both Cyclops AND Prof X getting killed off by Jean/Phoenix) is that Wolverine is becoming Storm's boy-toy for the film. After the fuss Halle pitched about her character, I can totally believe they will cast her as the new leader and have her lead Logan around by his jewels.

I really enjoyed the teaser trailer, but all the plot-points sound atrocious.

I'm not very good with my X-Men history; who are the Morlocks?
After all of those time-travel plots in the eighties, I got lost.

They were mutants who chose to live underground bc their mutations made them unable to pass as humans. Callisto was their leader when they were first introduced. They were usually pretty gruesome looking, not really so much like the kids in the pics. They look more like they are at a Rave.

I hear watch you're saying too, i've also heard alot of deaths occur in this one and actually pretty much the survivors of the main characters are who you see in the posters i posted. Angel, Jean, Logan, Storm, Beast and Rogue.
Pretty freaking silly. I guess we'll see. But they're not even bothing to stick with the story now, just taking characters and events and throwing them in a meat ginder to see what they come up with.

beast does look awesome, i think they did good..

and this cant possibly be the last x film, as some have said, there hasnt been a gambit as of yet....and they would not exclude gambit in the last film...they arent stupid, they know there are fans willing to pay to just see him....dont forget, rogue has to be a lil bit older too, for gambit to be in the picture...

Chud.com has posted parts of an interesting interview w/ director Ratner. Apparently this is indeed the last of the Xmen films (at least as far as Fox is concerned w/ right now) and that some of the leaked photos are not to be taken seriously.

Jackman is the best choice for Wolverine. I can't imagine anyone else playing him.

Although I think Beast looks ridiculous with a perm and Jackman, along with most of the other cast (except Famke, that ten year old boy that plays Storm and the whiny princess that thinks she's Rogue), is perfect for his role.

The picture with the three bad girl wannabe's...am I the only one that almost laughed out loud when I saw these three? I mean, c'mon, you can't get any more cliche than that! And whats with the hip curl? The snarling? The purple streaks? *squeels*

"Yeah, look at us...we're totally badass and live in the sewers and fight for our people and wear raggity leather clothes and stuff...but still have time to go to the hairdresser to get moussed up and have trendy purple streaks with cute little knots put in."

These pictures remind me of the Generation X flop back in the late ninties. Same tackiness.

I can't wait to see this movie And not just so that I can check out Pyro either

Oh well, at least it won't be some kind of long string of movies that keeps going on...

Because if it did, it'd turn into some kind of Final Fantasy equivalent.

And hey, everyone dies. A good end to the series, in my opinion.
